Almost Wordless Wednesday--Daisy

Note:  Daisy's tumour is growing rapidly.  She is now being hand fed softer food--has trouble picking up food; otherwise, she's still the usual Daisy......

  1. Heartbreaking stuff. My thoughts are with you and dear Daisy. I wish I could give you both hugs.
I know what you are going through, I lost my Amber two years ago with the very same thing, fast growing mouth sore. I hated seeing her finding it hard to chew, and she loved her food too. She never lost her lust for life though. I like to think she is waiting at the Bridge.
Sending love from me and Annie xx

  21. Oh, Daisy, sweet girl - so sorry to hear it keeps growing! My Shadow had a mouth tumor - but it was in the back of her mouth so I wasn't able to see it grow, but did notice Shadow had a harder and harder time swallowing until I had to make the difficult decision to end her discomfort and distress. Mouth tumors can be so very nasty. Sending all of you hugs and will keep you in my prayers.

  34. Hi Daisy ~ I pray all the time for a miracle. When my Lee lost her last scot she swore never another one. Then she started visiting dog blogs being lonely at night. Daisy your blog was the first one my Lee looked at. Because of you she decided to get another scot. When she got me and before she had a blog just a Google account she started leaving you comments. That is where Frankie saw me and started to track me down being that we are from the same state.
    I love you Daisy.

  36. Please don't tell me I'm missed something again.

Okay, I know this is crazy, but once again, I am promoting what I've used in Rin's tumor problem. Turmeric. Seriously, you have to consider it if the tumor is growing. It has helped Rin maintain a normal life, she's being fed of it about twice a day (1/2 teaspoon per meal). Please feel free to research about its cancer inhibiting properties. It's an amazing spice.

    I pray that Daisy's okay.
