  7. That's funny! Why on earth would anyone trust a rodent? If you want it done right, ask a dog to do it. We'd love to predict the weather. Partially sunny, breeze from the North, chance of showers or snow. Spring will arrive shortly. See, I just covered all the basic weather problems. Now no one can get mad.

  9. Here in the U.S. someone has brought a lawsuit against Punxsatawnie Phil for messing up Spring. But we heard today that his attorney is going to "spring" and take the "fall" for him. We are hoping that means we might be able to have a long Spring and no hot summer.

  11. Hahaha! I think Mr. Phil was playing a Most Sneaky practical joke on all of us. And really, who could blame him for wanting to pull one over on the humans every now and again?

  15. Autumn has arrived here in SA - getting light later and dark earlier and there is a definite nip in the air at night.

  16. I never did trust that fuzzy old guy. We used to live just down the road from Punxsutawney Phil and he was one grumpy old dude.

  17. Punxatawney Phil is a fun little game - but if anyone actually takes his predictions seriously, well, that's kinda sad.

And hey - it's Spring here anyway! :)

  21. I agree he does, but we have to have someone to blame and he is an easy target.
