Your thoughts on this situation please.....
As you know we've been having some hole-digging issues.
Especially now that it has been raining like forever
and the ground is soft.
Certain dogs who shall remain nameless get the blame and are told how naughty they are.
WELL......
Check out this mess

Bella assessing the damage. |
Do you notice anything different?
Because we don't......except
SHE did it!
But SHE says SHE was pulling out weeds so it's OKAY.
Hmmmmmmmmpf
Naughty teaching is going on in your home. It happens in our house all the time.
ReplyDeleteAh, this is a case of "Do as I say, not as I do-itis'. She suffers from it quite a bit - so many things thatI am not allowed to do but She is .......hmmmmpf indeed. I could not have expressed it better myself!

Woof! Woof! Someone is in big trouble. I think I know WHO? What weeds ... did you guys helped her? Lots of Golden Woofs, Sugar
ReplyDeleteHm, it's OK for one but not for the other...?! That's not exactly fair! :-/ Well, I say, tell her off too (weeds or no weeds!)! ;-)
ReplyDeleteAnd what does she think you girls are doing?!
ReplyDeleteNaughty Mum, tell her off girls :-)
ReplyDeleteOoh, our human is just the same - if she makes holes "weeding" then it's fine. But when we try to make the holes bigger, well... actually, our human doesn't mind. She says she can't expect us not to dig when the yard is mostly dirt at the moment. She's hoping to grow some grass so it'll be more difficult to dig.
ReplyDeleteAnd we get to dig at the beach, anyway.

Hoomans are so good at creating new rules to get themselves off the hook easily!
ReplyDeleteLove ya lots,
Mitch and Molly
Well a little help with landscaping should be done in secret and then blamed on the cat or the squirrels or the vile fox. That's what we do. We had to resort to an old farmers trick last year which is to hang bags of mothballs around the fences to stop the vile fox digging. It worked. Nobody likes the smell. Have a super Sunday.
ReplyDeleteBest wishes Molly
I don't see any hole digging issues. You are doing a very good job of digging holes. Certainly better than a human could do, thumbs and all.
ReplyDeleteKisses,
Dexter
Great hole digging girls - can't think why your peeps aren't pleased at you helping look for weeds to root out. Woofs and licks from Magic xx
ReplyDeleteThat's some great landscaping! Hopefully some bushes and trees will cover it all up!
ReplyDeleteBOL - it took Mom a while to figure out what was going on in the first picture. Dad dug holes in the yard too just yesterday - weed removal he says. We don't believe him.
ReplyDeleteSam
Hey, a Scottie gotta do do what a Scottie wants to do, get it Bella make a mess and be proud of it! Thats what we do and Dad just laughs at us, what a guy!

Just look at that PITIFUL MESS!! Peeps can NOT make a proper hole to save themselves. PITIFUL we Say... PITIFUL. That is just a heap of rip and scatter. No place big enough to Hide anythingy.. None deep enough to catch some GOOD Drinking Water.
ReplyDeleteYou girrrrls need to take HER out there and have HER sit and WATCH as the MASTERS of Hole Digging work.
Ernie would like to talk with Roxy fur a second...

Ah yes, the old double standard.
ReplyDeleteHoles - what holes??? I think there are some holes in this story :)
ReplyDeleteThat is wicked cool. You are makin little lakes in you yard.
ReplyDeleteNow humans are always saying that dog training is all about being consistent don't they....
ReplyDeleteI sure hope you girls were out there to help HER while she made that mess.
ReplyDeleteMillie
Humans are never satisfied. We tried to help Mom weed the garden one time and she got all mad and started yelling that we'd pulled the flowers out. Well, isn't that what she was doing? How's a dog supposed to know what the crazy humans want?
ReplyDeleteMorgan, Sebastian, the Porties, Syd and Mac
Hoomans and their double standards...they may eat off the table but we can't...they can sleep in the big bed but we can't...they can fart but HEAVEN HELP YOU if you let a nice ripe one rip.
ReplyDeleteWally & Sammy
Bella you stick to your story...sometimes humans are very slow at seeing the big picture.
ReplyDeleteHugs Madi your BFFF
PS as for digging I only dig in my box which is upstairs over our family room...mom says it sounds like I'm digging to Down Under. Should I succeed I'll come for a visit
The Momster here is very happy that our yard has a good snow pack so we can't make any mud for her. But with it hitting 50 this week, some of us are looking forward to holes and mud:) The only problem is that our SHE fills the holes with our poop so we won't dig there again.
ReplyDeleteWoos - Phantom, Thunder, Ciara, and Lightning.
Tell her that its your Modern Art!
ReplyDeleteAnything passes for modern art these days!
Oh, and I hope you're enjoying your Scottish-like-weather! We are enjoying our sun!
Have a brilliant week!

Are you sure she's not trying to dig her way to Virginia?!
ReplyDeleteThe only hole digging issues you have is that there aren't enough of them!
ReplyDeleteYour Pals,
Murphy & Stanley
Aliens made those holes.
ReplyDeleteNot fair!
ReplyDeleteNola
Looks like you made a pretty good mess there Bella!
ReplyDeleteWe agree girls. You need to give you mum some lessons in hole digging. Can you send some of your rain over here please? Hope your weekend was a good one mates. No worries, and love, Stella and Rory
ReplyDeleteHoles? What holes? I don't see any holes! I thinks SHE is havin' halucinations....
ReplyDeleteKisses,
Ruby
Looks like the same old play ground to me....what holes!????
ReplyDeleteBella we know you are chasing that hole digging cat out of the yard
ReplyDeleteBenny & Lily
What's wrong with holes?LOL. Don't they add variety to a beautiful yard? It shows a dog's personal touch.
ReplyDeleteHuggies and Cheese,
Haopee
We don't know what her is talkin' about, your yard looks great! :)
ReplyDeleteWoofs and Licks,
Maggie Mae and Max
Just plant some flowers in them thats all you have to do. You humans make such a big deal out of everything!
ReplyDeleteKisses,
Stella
Maybe she should get a shovel and help with the hole digging work.
ReplyDeleteThanks for being a friend
Sweet William The Scot
Tell HER that maybe there was a mole in the hole and being the good ratters you are, you were just trying to save HER from those critters. Come. On. And I am sure none of you gals has the dirty paws or nose either, right?
ReplyDeleteAlyssa, Mr. Fox & Scruffy
Humans sure do have double standards when it comes to holes, don't they?
