A Fantastic Day....

This morning we went for our early walk a bit later...so it was quite light.

If you look way in the background you'll see Bella and Roxy.

 Bella was allowed off her lead for the first time in ages in this area.

She ruined the walk by back tracking past where I'm standing and went under the gate into the high school.......again!

We had to back track and then while Bella looked through the fence, we got a treat.

So she came back to us.  She didn't get a treat.

BUT....

Though our walk was shorter, we had a big surprise when SHE loaded us in the car.  We went to the Devil's Elbow.

And it wasn't even Saturday.

 We raced around like maniacs.  SHE worked this last week and we only got short, business walks in the morning--we were ready to run!

 Roxy's BFF, Kelly the kelpie, was there and we all raced around for an hour.

After our baths, SHE abandoned us for awhile.

BUT

When SHE came home, She once again loaded us in the car and we went to Sandy Beach for another swim!

 On the way home, we stopped at the Sports Ground.....

Roxy is right in the middle behind that little tree.

 Where we ran around....

 

 Rolled....and dried off.

We only had to be brushed out when we got home......NO BATH!

We did all this because....

We each had a Turkey wing for dinner!

Do you know how big those things are?

Also, you wouldn't believe it, but 'Beach Blanket Bingo' was the afternoon movie on television...we watched the last hour.  (Was there a plot?)
