Rainy Saturday

It rained all Saturday, so we didn't go to the river and we didn't even have a walk!  (She says there's a 'no walk in rain' clause in our contract.)

I, Daisy, got in some intensive training for the Olympics--individual sleeping event.
 Naturally, Bella watched television.
The History of Wales
She's addicted.
And Roxy had a short training session, before going outside
 to dig in the mud.

Followed by a foot bath.....
(after galumphing through the house with muddy feet)
And then she de-stuffed the pillow that I, Daisy, sleep on!
Sunday morning, we were out early in the fog having a long walk.
Had it been raining, we think there would have been an easing
of the
 'no-walk-in-rain' clause.

  3. I think if you can't walk in the rain then you should teach Roxy how to run on the treadmill (that is if you have one of those). Looks like she needs to burn off a little energy.

  6. WELL NOW Ladies... Bella, you are gonna be the bestest educated athlete in the Olympics... the History of Wales sounds like some heady stuffs to me.
Daisy, I'm thinkin that you made very VERY good use of your training time. Did Roxy Wake you at all with her GALUMPHING around with those muddy feet?
Muddy Feet Galumphing sounds like it would have made a SUPER EVENT. Maybe next time. I'm just sayin!!

  7. Daisy, take it from someone older than you. You have to put your paw down. Bella is out of control-history of Wales? I bet she doesn't know too much about Scotland and she should learn pronto. Roxy should NOT violate your property. YOU are the matriarch of the house. Banish her to the tower of Canberra!

  8. scotsmad....
No walk in the rain?! That is ridiculous!! It rains so frequently around here, that if I created a no walk in the rain "clause", Rose would never get any exercise!! Hee, hee, hee....

  9. I got to hang out in the rain today. We had my mom person's dad over for a BBQ and it rained. We just put our awning over the picnic table and ate underneath it in the rain.

I was soaked, but I had fun!

  12. Well done Roxy for galumphing through the house with muddy feet, I had a go at that myself after the humans had mopped the white tiles in the living room.
    Gives them something to do!

  22. There's not clause like that in our contract... but our pawrents are thinking of making a little spot in the yard for us to make emergency business trips when it's raining too hard. But, it only rains like that a few weeks out of the year here in San Francisco.
