SHE hobbled home and sat most of the day with heating pads around her knee and pain killers.
Then the rain set in, so we had to practise for our Olympic Sleeping event....Friday and Saturday.
By Saturday morning with knee bandage in place, SHE did manage to hobble to the Farmer's Market, held in a parking garage because of the rain and get a two-week supply of treats. So we think we were forgiven.
Sunday morning there was a break in the weather and we went for a walk. Oh, Thursday afternoon, AFTER the 'Unfortunate Incident' Roxy's new martingale collar arrived....isn't THAT typical!
It turned cold, for HER. Remember we don't have central heating--just a little bar radiator. So we cuddled up on the couch and watched--
Naturally our favourite part is 'God loves a terrier'
Bella watched the whole thing. Roxy and I did some more sleep practise.
And SHE performed some more surgery.
So look who's back!
Nose a bit blunt, less spines BUT his squeaker still works!
A morning walk, a good movie a nap and surgery--I think that's a lot for a Sunday!! :-)
ReplyDeleteWe so hope HER knee is better. Mom goes nuts when a loose dog comes running up on us when we are out walking. Their owners are just so ignorant. They don't understand that a loose dog is a threat to dogs on a leash.
ReplyDeleteWow, that stuffie sure has a lot of lives, he must be part cat.
