Giving you the bird(s) 3

Today we want to show you some birds we see often, but don't usually chase.  Yesterdays birds wait until we're very close then fly off a short distance, so we can chase them again.

We have a few Black Swans at the duck pond.  They head for the water when they see us coming.
 The Crested Pigeons are everywhere....
The Willie Wagtails are everywhere, too....
The little Red Rumped Parrots usually feed on lawns, but they're too quick for us.
So are the little Faery Wrens.
 The Eastern Rosellas and
Cockatiels are usually in the trees, so we can't chase those.
Emus we've only seen from the car...they're way too big to chase!
There are lots of other birds we chase like sparrows, black birds, Indian mynahs, Australian Miners, Honeyeaters....just loads.
We always chase anything that comes into our garden.
SHE has planted all native plants to attract the birds and we chase them away...BOL!
Oh, Bella wanted to share her favourite cake with you--again!
To everyone who is celebrating Thanksgiving....have a fantastic time with your families and friends, and if you're travelling, be safe!
(Kendra had another good day today.)

  8. Visiting your blog these last couple of days was almost like going to the San Diego Zoo! We have, or have had, most if not all the birds you mentioned in our collection. How fun it would be to see them in "the wild." Someday... Happy Thanksgiving to you, too!

  13. What beautiful birds to see, enjoy and chase when you can!!! I have to admit that I had no idea that cockatiels were native to your neck of the woods--How fun to see them free instead of in only in cages as we do here!

I know your Mom has roots here in the US, so I wish her a HAPPY THANKSGIVING too!!
