Roxy

Yes, those are the modified sandals!
 Yesterday we had our first HOT day......37 C (98.6).  See Roxy's pink(ish) nose?  That's zinc.  She has to have sunscreen put on her nose so she doesn't get skin cancer.  We've never had a dog that needs sunscreen before!
SHE was working yesterday and had to come home at Morning Tea (Australian schools have a morning tea break) because SHE forgot to put the zinc on Roxy's nose in the morning.

And now for something different.  You probably know that Roxy is part Bull Terrier but have a guess what she's crossed mixed  blended with.........
Here's a BIG clue.
Didn't take Roxy long to find a prime sleeping place.

    I am guessing dalmatian? I am glad Roxy got her sunscreen. I did not realized it got that hot in Australia!

    Wow, looks like ridgeback to me! She's such a cutie with that pink snout. Better healthy than sorry. Boy, I wish it was still Summer here! 98.6 would be perfect swimmie weather!

    Roxy is one cute pup. Not quite as cute as you 3 Scottie gals but very close indeed. I love bullterrier's too and have been looking at the miniature version as well. If only we lived in Australia maybe we could adopt her sibling.

    Ohhhh...I was wondering when you puts up her and her sister's Rescue Me postie if they were part Ridgeback! But I couldn't tell for SUUUURE if that was a ridge. But gosh, it sure looks like it. How neato! She's Most Definitely one-of-a-kind!

    Does she try to lick that zinc off? Cuz I'm pretty sure I would.

    I was a thinking she got some yogurt on her nose...hahaha... She's a lovely girl n the eye patch makes her most unique.

    I don't care. If K, D and B like her, she's all right with me. Call her an honorary Scottie and be done with it! I think I'm 100% Scottish Terrier, but I'm a rescue and non-judgmental, so it is Roxy the Scottish bull terrier!

    BTs are a trip...as you can tell by some of my posts about Zippy. I can't imagine a BT/Ridgeback cross. Roxy sure looks like a sweet girl. Love her sweet eyes.
