For Our Friend Bertie

We were just reading Bertie's post about his winter coat
 that turned into a beanie.

We wanted to warn him that patterns like this are circulating
 on the internet.


We're sure he doesn't want to end up looking like a sheep.

However, knowing about his interest in everything scientific,
 we think he (and the knitter) might like to sport
 beanies like this during the cold weather.
We can just picture them  walking through Duthie Park together with matching beanies.

And now a warning for you guys who are
facing the Polar Vortex......

  2. For some reason Gail thinks that first picture is hilarious. I don't. As for the hat, I fear some people might make unkind comments about woolly thinking, should Gail wear it to the park.

  4. Bertie is surely counting his WFT blessings today...can you imagine if Gail's fingers made Bertie that coat he'd be a dog in sheep's clothing.

    OH I oved that cartoon. Just the other day I asked F&E if their pp froze when they lifted their legs!

  8. And as a Weenie Dog, I can only imagine what it would be like to walk through all that snow. So Hap-Pee that I live in Florida where it NEVER snows (or gets really cold).

  17. We have been wondering what the poor pups stuck with six feet of snow do for bathroom times - we do love our snow, but not THAT much:)
