My Peep is a Flake 1

SHE has never been good with plants.  In fact, SHE is considered the 'kiss of death' to any plant SHE's been given.  But this year, SHE decided to try to grow some vegies in pots.

There was GREAT excitement when this cherry tomato actually grew and ripened.

As it was the VERY first tomato SHE's ever grown in her long
life, SHE bought a little gold ring box.....

And took it to Morning Tea to  proudly show all of HER green-fingered friends.

  7. Very nice presentation. Just don't forget that it's in there. It'll turn a lovely shade of blue-black in no time and smell delicious.

  19. That is quite an exquisite BOX for a tomato! BOL! We hope her green-fingered friends were duly impressed - as are WE! Come to think of it, we don't think our Mom has ever even TRIED to grow anything EDIBLE! Occasionally, she puts out an ornamental plant and if it survives without her help, then it gets to stay. Otherwise, it's the compost heap! BOL! Congrats to your Mom on the tomato growing! Although putting it in a special box could definitely qualify as FLAKY! BOL!
Thanks for sharing your flaky peep moment with US!
