It's a bit hard to see. But it's a dead bird. IN the lounge room on the CARPET!
Some doggie brought it in last night.
As you know Bella has been known to kill baby birds, but she leaves them where they lie.
I, Daisy, don't bother dead birds.
Roxy is known to carry around or at least tries to carry around any dead bird she comes across on our walks.
You be the judge.
Yup - that bird has seen better days.....even has bright red goo coming out of him...... I don't know who is responsible - Roxy looks super innocent!
ReplyDeleteTail Wuggles, Rubie
Good job, whoever it was!! BOL!!
ReplyDeleteI always try to pull toward things like that when I'm on a walk, but my momma won't let me. She's no fun!
ReplyDeleteGail and I are having a disagreement about whether that photo forms a desirable backdrop to Sunday breakfast. I contend that it is an excess of whisky and haggis last night, and not the massacred bird, that is making my dear human feel rather queasy this morning...
ReplyDeleteToodle pip!
Bertie.
Hi Gang! Oooops, Roxy looks like you may have been incriminated here by a process of elimination ;-) However, without hard evidence they cannot do anything, we know this from experience so just keep the innocent look on your face, a sideways head tilt works at times like this too we've found. Dex and Lou xxx
ReplyDeleteWho let those pesky squirrels in the house again??? BOL
ReplyDeleteWoos - Phantom, Thunder, Ciara, and Lightning
Always getting blamed just cuz your the new dawg in town! Just totally not fair, is it, Roxy???
ReplyDeleteSam and Pippen
Innocent until proven guilty!
ReplyDeleteDachshund Nola
Ha Ha! Roxy...you look soooo innocent!
ReplyDeleteOh my - it couldn't be Roxy! Could it?
ReplyDeleteStewey
Don't worry you guys. I know none of you are guilty of killin that bird and leaving it in the middle of the carpet.
ReplyDeleteThat is clearly a Photoshopped picture.......someone probably just took a dead pird picture then cloned it into your carpet to get you in trouble.
clearly
Oh Bella
ReplyDeleteBenny & Lily
Just as I do in court, I would 'plead guilty with an explanation' and beg for mercy from the judge! :-)
ReplyDeletehmmm....I think we know the answer here....Jake likes to grab baby birds....so far hasn't brought any in with him...
ReplyDeleteholy cow! My Mommy would have freaked out if a dead bird (or any animals for that matter) is IN our house, what's more with blood! *faint*
ReplyDeleteyeah, Roxy does look suspicious I'd say!

Abby belongs to the 'eat what you kill' school, which at least avoids the crime scene photos and the messy clean-up. Looks like Roxy is practicing to be a Scottie with considerable success.

It was Professor Plum in the conservatory with a candlestick.
ReplyDeleteDon't worry girls, we definitely know it must have flown in through an open door, crashing as it did thus becoming all squished and yucky. No blame for anyone if that happens is there??? I Stella, have been known to 'find' dead birds too. No worries, and love, Stella and Rory
