A visit from Marli

Last night our friend Marli came to visit.  Her family was having a party and she wasn't invited.
At first, she couldn't believe she'd been left behind.
 Then she tried to  escape.
But stopped when told 'NO'.  Next, we had a wild game of zoomies-- too fast for the camera.
It was hot and humid, so it was a short, wild game of zoomies.  We went inside where it was cool,  had a rawhide chewy and settled down for a sleep.
See our tongues hangin' out after playing?
Sorry there's no group shot of the four of us.......like that was going to happen.  The photographer only managed three, blurred black shapes in one frame.

  1. well, Hello to Marli!!
Her is really really cute.....like a longer legged, and non-pointy eared version of your beautiful selves....

She kinda looks like our "Schnoodle" furrend, Caco!

  5. It is always good to have doggie friends who welcome you when the humans have a date! She looks like quite an escape artist. We are so glad you had fun and did zoomies - even in the heat! That's the spirit ladies :)

  9. We're glad Marli finally figured out she'd have more fun with you than being locked in a bedroom or something at home. Just catching up on your last couple of posts. Jed has three beds in various room, but he spends half his time sleeping on cold tiles, too - even in the dead of winter. Abby & mama do not understand this, but he's mama's first retriever and he does have a double coat that Abby [and all the Danes] lack. Whatever makes you comfortable, that's our motto.

  15. Zoomies, huh? I like that name. Darby and Pumpkin get the zoomies a lot. When it comes on them in the house, watch out! Zoomies on hardwood floors is skittering, slidey fun!
