Duck Pond

 We went for FOUR walks today!  One was to the duck pond.  SHE forgot the camera......AGAIN! So this is just an old picture to remind you of what it looks like.

 The pond water was much clearer today and there were loads of ducks.  They must have thought we were going to feed them because they followed us around.  There were four tiny ducklings that Bella kept trying to get.  But Kendra was the more excited by them.  She ran back and forth acting like a puppy.  She even fell in and had to be pulled out.  She really wanted one of those ducklings. The duck pond is Kendra's favourite walk.
There were also three swans.  We've never seen them before.  Did you know Australian swans are black? 
 Well you do now.  We had to get this off the Internet because of the NO CAMERA!
When we got home, Kendra even managed a short zoomie around the house.  Then she found a comfortable(?) place to sleep......
She was using the tile as a pillow.  She is allowed to sleep wherever she chooses and this is it!
Think she's dreaming of ducklings?

    I would have paid a small fortune to see the three of them duck stalking. Bet it wasn't a quiet affair.

    That sure is a lotta fun chasing after duckies and Kendra have to fall in *LOL*. Did she have to have a bath too? gosh! that would have been awful. She sure chooses the toughest place to sleep.. hehehhee.. nice pics :)

    Well thank goodness your human occasionally forgets the camera......!
    At least you guys got a rent. The duck pond does look pretty and we have never seen a black swan - does that mean they are baddies cos they are black?
    We are glad there were pics otherwise we wouldn't have seen it.
    That sleeping place didn't look too comfy to us!

    Oh, I LUV ducks, too! I have tried to introduce myself to them SO many times but they're not very much sociable, if you ask me. That swan sure is pretty. It looks BIG!

    Yup, we know that Australian swans are black. We used to have a pair of them! They are gorgeous water fowl with their ruffly feathers.

    duckies!! i totally love your duck pond walkies. heehee. that black swan is really pretty, too. black makes them look very elegant like, i think.
