What's that?

Oh Bella, what are you watching...........
 so intently?
We should have guessed.
We've seen the parent birds for weeks, flying in and out of  the gutter, chirping at each other.  But this is the first time we've seen the fledgeling.

  18. Does Bella wear a bell? We don't know how good the birdies hear, so maybe it should be a cow bell. Abby shares Bella's guilty obsession, but most of our birds are skittish and not ground nesters, so she's only managed to snatch a couple out of the air. We chalk that down to Darwin: obviously the birds were too slow and too stupid to stay away from a boxer-beagle's mouth, so best they didn't reproduce anyhow. Mama did not share this rational view, however.

We just read Jazzi's post and were surprized to read that you, too, are Redskins fans. Are we talking about the same Washington Redskins? How did that happen? They are hardly world famous, so we're surprized you've even heard of them all the way Downunder.
