Excitement

 What is that?
 It's over there!
 Can you see it?
 It's under that tree!
What do you think?  SHE doesn't see it.  Let us out the front door!
FINALLY!  That's better.  Can you see it?
It's a baby bird.  It fell out of its nest.
SHE tried to help it, but it died shortly after.
Sometimes Springtime is sad.

  4. Oh, I'm sorry it died. Sometimes they do. I got confused for a minute. Even though I KNOW it's springtime there the baby bird caught me by surprise. But yes, sometimes there is sadness.

    lotsa licks, Lola

  11. The pictures of all of you are so cute!! We are sorry about the little bird. We have that happen a lot here and it's usually Holly that gets to it before I can even get down the stairs. Even the big birds aren't too bright around here because Holly caught one out of the tree in the backyard. Luckily all it did was loose some feathers and when I got to it, it flew away....with feathers everywhere. Lots of love, Debbie and Holly

  14. Oh, yes...we had a few of those in our yard this last springtime. And it is kinda sad when that happens. But you three were most wonderful trying to help your mom with that baby bird. The times I tried to help my mom with baby birds, she was all, "SQUEEE, MAYZIE! LEAVE IT, MAYZIE! PUT IT DOWN, MAYZIE!" Sheesh. I luvs her but sometimes she can really get in a dither.
