Million Paws Walk

Today we added eight paws to the Million Paws Walk. (Kendra didn't go, she can't cope.) It's a nationwide fundraising event for the RSPCA. We went to the Walk held in our town. There were so many people and dogs of all sizes. Bella was very frightened at first. And to tell the truth, I was a bit overwhelmed. There was music, clowns, activities, demonstrations......Just so much.
Once the walk started, we really got into the action.

We met lots of dogs. This is Jenna, she has just moved to our town from Tasmania. She's a scottie, too.
Lots of dogs wanted to play, but we had serious walking to do.
We passed lots of slow dogs. We had to practically drag Alpha with us.
There were water stops along the path. The pomeranian's human slanted the bucket so we could both drink.

We enjoyed that walk. It took about an hour to complete.

Afterwards there were lots of activities and entertainment. Or you could just relax with your peeps.

It was a great day out! AND all those homeless animals have money to help them.

  1. Wow - what a great event! Well done girls on taking part in such a worthwhile cause! We're so glad you had fun, we could see you wre really stiding out in those photos! And what a great way to meet people and pups - once youve got over the shock of the noise and amount of movement! Schnauzer snuggles - JD and Max.
