A confession...

My name is Hemskirk Charisma......
  better known as Daisy.

And I have a drinking problem.

Well........ SHE says I have a drinking problem!

I just love to dunk my nose in the water dish right up to my eyeballs a couple of times before I actually start drinking.
Then when I'm finished I walk across the kitchen floor.
Okay, maybe I do dribble a bit.  But SHE's got the mop right there!
And it forces encourages HER to keep the floor clean.
I think SHE's got the problem.
Sheesh!

What was possibly my beard dribbles might have caused my peep to maybe slip over just a few moments ago... She obviously needs to keep the mop handy like your peep!

  3. Ooh, Daisy, our human couldn't believe it the other day when Trixie dunked her face in a bucket of water up to her eyes, and then drank from it like that!

Our human complains, too, when Trixie swims in the water bowl and puts water all over the floor - she's doing the hard part of the cleaning for her!

  5. You are so thoughtful Daisy making sure the floor is always clean. Those peeps are so ungrateful. I wipe my snout on my peeps legs after a good drink and they get annoyed. Why? A human napkin is so handy. Have a marvelous Monday.
    Best wishes Molly

  19. My daddy hates to find water drops trailing on the floor after I take a nice big drink. His favorite thing is to step in it with his bare feet! BOL!

  20. I do that also. It's an attempt to clean my beard so They won't think I need a bath today.

  21. We all, except Sebastian and the puppies, have beards and we love to dip them in the water or anything else wet. Dad yells about the trail of water on the floor, but Mom just reaches for the paper towels. The best thing is wiping our faces on bare legs or Dad's pants when he's dressed for work.

  22. We joke that Pippen drinks a ton of water but only half of it actually gets in her belly, the rest just gets in her beard and all over the floor!!

  28. Daisy you remind me of my last Scot, Half Pence. Lee always had a wet sock on one foot. He just believe in rinsing out his mouth and not swallowing.
    Thanks for being a friend

  29. We pups with beards have no choice but to dribble water after we get a drink, right? You're going a wee bit further and kinda washing your face too, Daisy! There is nothing wrong with a squeaky clean floor.

    Love ya lots,

  32. Beards will tend to collect water. That's the way that ball rolls. Nothing to do about it but keep the mop handy.

  33. Daisy - be sure and let HER know that the small amount of water is nothing compared to what our little blind Brook used to do. She played in the water dish and would put both front legs in and splash around. Often times the bowl would be tipped over and the kitchen floor flooded! Then when she got a bit older, she stopped. Then along came blind Breeze and she did the same thing for a few months. So, a bit of water on the floor, that's nothing!

  35. BOL!! Oh Daisy, I gets the same thing from Ma all the time!! 'Stop makin' a puddle!', 'Do you have to drip all over the floor?'....I can't help it! If she wanted dry floors, she should have gotten a dog without a beard!!! BOL
What really funny is that my predecessor (also and Airedale) use to splash SO much, that Ma had to buy puppy widdle pads under the water dish! So, I say to Ma...stop b*tchin', it could be worse!! hehehe
    Kisses,
    Ruby

  36. I don't see any problem at all. I like having a little dribble, it keeps me cool. Mops were invented for just that reason I bet.
