Yesterday, a man came to our house and put up some hooks.
They replace an old hat rack that was falling to bits.
Surprisingly, he did a good job though we didn't supervise.
Now SHE can hang up our leads and they won't get tangled.
Of course, SHE says we can't get new leads until some spotty dog stops grabbing the leads on walks and chomping through them. (Notice how they've all got knots.)
When we were little puppies, we used to get tied up at night (so we didn't make... mess... on the carpet) I used to chew the leads then... I eatted right through a couple!
ReplyDeleteThose are cool hooks, you could hang deaded squirrels to dry out for morning.
ReplyDeleteLoveys Sasha
Nice job on the new hooks! Hey, no more chomping on them.....
ReplyDeleteHugs,
Lily Belle
Nice new hooks! We have knots in all our leashes too!
ReplyDeletenice hooks - mom is a big neat-freak, those hooks are just the kind of thing she would approve of.
ReplyDeleteGreat idea , nice and neat. Have a terrific Thursday.
ReplyDeleteBest wishes Molly
I think the knots give the leads a well used and loved look--New ones just wouldn't be the same!
ReplyDeleteI hope you're all doing well!!
Those leads have character!! :) Have a good one!
ReplyDeleteThose hooks are just perfect. AND I think your walkin strings are, Too.. they show exactly how much they are USED and LOVED.
ReplyDeleteNice hooks! I too like the knotty look - it really does give them that extra flair that a brand new lead just doesn't have!
ReplyDeleteNice job on the hooks. I like Sasha's idea of using them to dry deaded critters ;-)
ReplyDeleteCindy
I'd use them to go fishing in the house when I'm locked in. I suspect that She wants to use them to hang Somedoggy at sunrise-a little Arizona justice.
ReplyDeleteMy leash has a knot too. I'll never tell why though.
ReplyDeleteNora
LOL - we've been staying not free, luckily. Love your new hooks!
ReplyDeleteSam
We have hooks like that, when I was a pup I would go through a lead a week lol.
ReplyDeleteHave a good week

Don't you just hate it when you're not allowed to supervise!
ReplyDeleteThat person did a very nice job brick isn't easy to work with.
ReplyDeleteAnd oh yes,we know all about those some pups that do all that chomping.
Woos - Phantom, Thunder, Ciara, and Lightning
What cool hooks and so conveniently placed!
ReplyDeleteLove ya lots,
Mitch and Molly
Locked inside? The horror! You are only trying to make sure that the job gets done properly! I like the new hooks though, very snazzy! Happy Thursday! :-D
ReplyDeleteThose are a great idea!! My leads are just on a table near the door...not the bestest.
ReplyDeleteKisses,
Ruby
Hehehe, that's funny. Our leads are a bit chewed too. Mum says it's always the little one that causes the mischief, as if! Have a great weekend. No worries, and love, Stella and Rory
ReplyDeleteLooks nice! Phee is a leash chewer, too
ReplyDeleteNola
that is so nice....silly spotted dog.....
ReplyDeleteWe like your new hooks. We need some of those
ReplyDeleteBenny & Lily
Ahahaha!!!! We love your hooks and your knotted leads. Mr. Fox has eaten through a few himself! How does your peep manage 3 retractables at once?
ReplyDeleteAlyssa, Mr. Fox & Scruffy
My mum was laughing at the retractable leads having knots...... She says there would be issues with the smooth retracting-ness now!!
ReplyDeleteTail Wuggles, Rubie xxx
Well you get your leads all knotted up one way or another.
ReplyDeleteThanks for being a friend
Sweet William The Scot

A MAN CAME INTO YOUR HOUSE? If it were me, he'd swear to never come back again!:)
ReplyDeleteNice hooks though
Cotton
You've inspired my mom to ask for some hooks, too!
ReplyDeleteNice job. Those look really good. Maybe My Vickie should have something like that out at the entrance of the kennel for the clients.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the idea.....
Bert
What a cool idea!.....we might have to get some installed!
ReplyDeleteSlobbers
My momma just got a new leash hanger upper too! With the bonus that it has a shelf low enough for her to see all her hats and gloves and whatnot. Congratulations.
ReplyDeleteSlobbers,
Mango
Nice hooks, but boy I laughed out loud at all those knots!
ReplyDeleteWe have hooks on the walls just inside both the front and back doors. Mom hangs our leashes there so she can grab them in a hurry. She says it's part of our disaster plan. We think it's because she's so disorganized that she'd never find them ig she just put them down anywhere.
