Friday Favourites

Actually these aren't only favourites on Friday--but we liked the alliteration.
We thought we'd share some sounds that we love, like:

The fridge door opening....

Our food cupboard  opening....

Our treat basket being taken out....

HER getting up in the morning....

Poo bags being readied.....

These human phrases....

'Want some cheese?'

'Good girls'.

'Get in the car'

And last of all, the sound of HER car coming into the carport.

Do you have favourite sounds?

  1. I love your sounds. I love the sound of my Daddy coming home from work, when the garage door opens and the sound of my leash. I love the sound of anything food.

  2. Gail here - I want you to know that Bertie is the only person in the world who apparently enjoys the sound of my attempts to play the piano. He sits at my feet looking all peaceful and contented, whereas any human in earshot will have long fled in horror!

  8. I really get excited over the sound of the doorbell, children laughing, barking dogs (I like to bark back) and dogs singing and dancing on the TV (the movie trailer for "Beverly Hills Chihuahua" has been on the TV a lot these past few days).

  12. Nina used to get excited for some sounds when she was younger, but her hearing is so bad now we have to yell real loud just to get her attention. It does make for a much quieter house though without her barking at every little noise. ;-)

  20. Oh yes, there's the sound of the can opener and the ding of the microwave. There's the sound of the UPS truck coming down the street and the words "Do you want.....?" Those words are usually followed by something we do want.

  21. The words "walk", "bed", "ride", the doorbell on tv and on the house, the seat belt ding sound in the car (who knows why), the whip cream can, the laptop closing (means we're headed to bed), the leashes clanging together (means a walk).
