Car Ride!

This morning we piled into our little car.
Hurry up!  Put down that flashy box and let's get going!
Car rides are always exciting.....(look carefully and you can see Bella on the floor.)

Are we going to the river?

The big soccer fields?

Into town?

The Dog Park?

Our friend Millie's?

Along the cycleway?

This can't be right!
I went in first.  SHE's been worried that I've been eating slowly and there may be something wrong with my teeth.
But NO!  Nothing wrong with the teeth (I just like to eat slowly) and other than being fat, I was in perfect condition.

After my annual needle..... and a liver treat.  It was Bella's turn.

Look at her, she's plastered to the wall and shaking--about point 9 on the Richter Scale.
It's a wonder she isn't all blurred.  But again, other than being fat, she's perfect, too.

Needle, liver treat and she's back in the car.

Now it's Roxy's turn.  You should have heard her barking and whinging in the car while we had our turns.  Such a fuss.

Look at her, she couldn't wait to go in!
Soon, she realised that it wasn't what she expected.

But, she's in perfect condition....not fat.....quick needle, liver treat and back in the car.
Hopefully, we won't have to go back for another whole year!

BTW...... Our Vet's just happens to be very close to the soccer fields....
So we had a great time playing and sniffing before we went home!

  1. Glad everyone is ok!!! And that you had a nice run out in the fields before heading home!

  2. Well done everyone for being brave and going for your check-up (mom says they are important). I am especially glad to hear that I am not the only one whose dogter told him that he was on the...well...the more comfortable side of the scale.

Daisy, I also like to eat slow which frustrates Sam no end 'cos he likes to gobble up all his food and then sits next to me asking for taste...sometimes I share...sometimes I don't.

    Have a grrrreat day ladies!
    Wally and Sammy

  3. Car rides are USUALLY fun! Glad you'll got out okay

  4. Darby is just like Bella when she goes to the vet--shaking so hard that if left long enough, she could loosen the bolts on the exam table!

  5. Glad your car ride ended with a trip to the soccer fields so all wasn't lost.

  6. scotsmad....
Rose here. Oh no, not the dreaded V-E-T!! I hate it when my Mama takes me places, when I grow excited with hopeful expectations, and.... I have to see that man again!! For baying out loud!! At least you get liver treats, though. My V-E-T never gives me anything except for shots!! ;op
Love, Raelyn.... And Rose, my BEAUTIFULLY UNIQUE "Mystery Dog"!!

  7. PS. I love you new Header Picture!! I forgot to mention that!! Curse my short-term memory loss!! ;op

  8. I agree with Raelyn! Your header picture is adorable! Love the smiling faces!
So funny that the 3 of you took turns waiting in the car for your appointments! I wonder what would've happened if you all sat in the waiting room! Caos, whining, probably?
So glad you got your reward of going to the soccer field afterwards!

  9. Daisy, what's with the slow eating? If you don't inhale your food, one of the others-maybe even Somedoggie-will partake of your meal.

  10. Glad to hear you're all OK - liver treats not bad - run on the field pretty good too so not such a bad day after all :-) woofs and licks from Magic xx

  11. Why don't you all go in together? We do... it's much more fun that way!

    Sam and Pippen

  12. Bella, seismologists in Scotland were wondering about the source of those extra vibrations from the southern hemisphere...
So pleased to hear that you girls are all doing fine.
    Toodle pip!

  13. Awesome header shot you have up!!! Glad you all had a good report from the vet. And Lightning wants to know where SomePup was? :-)

Woos - Phantom, Thunder, Ciara, and Lightning

  14. Oh Roxy, we terriers can be such drama queens when left alone! I do the same thing ~ bark and whine until Ma appears. She should know not to leave a little helpless terrier like myself alone for more than 10 seconds! hehehe Anyhu, I am so glad to hear you pups are doin' great! I guess the romp at the soccer fields made it ALMOST worth it!

  15. You mean you don't all go in together? We do and there's lots of neat stuff to examine while someone is getting checked out. Samba can work the up and down table and she has even played with the computer. Tess, Lola and Norma Jean like to splash in the little sink and Fudge and Sky take all the pamphlets out of the rack and spread them around on the floor. Try it next time, it's loads of fun.
    Morgan, Sebastian and the Porties

  16. So the joksters tricked you and took you to the V-E-T! Thank goodness You all had a good report. It's not fat Doc, it's muscle. They never listen
    Benny & Lily

  17. You really got snickerdoodled going to the vet, but then all is well that ends well.
We like your new header picture, so many colors of green.
    Thanks for being a friend
    Sweet William The Scot

  18. Those are the BEST vet visits...NOTHING WRONG! Music to my ears!

  19. We're so happy that you got to hang out at the soccer fields after your stressful visit to the vet's!
We love your new header photo, girls!

    Love ya lots,
    Mitch and Molly

  20. As long as all of you is OK, da V-E-T visit is worth it AND you gots liver treats...yum!

    Woofs and Licks,
    Maggie Mae and Max

  21. Glad y'all are ok! I love the new header

  22. No!!! Not the vet. The sheer deviousness of the plan... bribery with the soccer field. HMPH! Shame on you!

    More treats. More treats.

    Huggies and Cheese,

  23. At least there were liver treats and soccer fields involved. I try to find the redeeming qualities.... PS. You Scots do not look fat at all!
    Alyssa, Mr. Fox & Scruffy

  24. Those sneaky humans... Why don't they ever tell us when we're on the way to the V.E.T...? It always has to be a naughty, icky surprise!

  25. Surely you no is fat - look how actively you is playing in the field! I is sorry you had to suffer the indignities of the vet, but also I is happy your tooths is in good shape.

  26. OK...that's the best news, the 3 of you could ever get....treats are the best part...we all gets chubs too...so don't cry over that...love the field!
