Car Ride!

This morning we piled into our little car.
Hurry up!  Put down that flashy box and let's get going!
Car rides are always exciting.....(look carefully and you can see Bella on the floor.)

Are we going to the river?

The big soccer fields?

Into town?

The Dog Park?

Our friend Millie's?

Along the cycleway?

NO!

This can't be right!
I went in first.  SHE's been worried that I've been eating slowly and there may be something wrong with my teeth.
But NO!  Nothing wrong with the teeth (I just like to eat slowly) and other than being fat, I was in perfect condition.

After my annual needle..... and a liver treat.  It was Bella's turn.

Look at her, she's plastered to the wall and shaking--about point 9 on the Richter Scale.
It's a wonder she isn't all blurred.  But again, other than being fat, she's perfect, too.

Needle, liver treat and she's back in the car.

Now it's Roxy's turn.  You should have heard her barking and whinging in the car while we had our turns.  Such a fuss.

Look at her, she couldn't wait to go in!
Soon, she realised that it wasn't what she expected.

But, she's in perfect condition....not fat.....quick needle, liver treat and back in the car.
Hopefully, we won't have to go back for another whole year!

BTW...... Our Vet's just happens to be very close to the soccer fields....
So we had a great time playing and sniffing before we went home!

  2. Well done everyone for being brave and going for your check-up (mom says they are important). I am especially glad to hear that I am not the only one whose dogter told him that he was on the...well...the more comfortable side of the scale.

Daisy, I also like to eat slow which frustrates Sam no end 'cos he likes to gobble up all his food and then sits next to me asking for taste...sometimes I share...sometimes I don't.

    Have a grrrreat day ladies!

  4. Darby is just like Bella when she goes to the vet--shaking so hard that if left long enough, she could loosen the bolts on the exam table!

Rose here. Oh no, not the dreaded V-E-T!! I hate it when my Mama takes me places, when I grow excited with hopeful expectations, and.... I have to see that man again!! For baying out loud!! At least you get liver treats, though. My V-E-T never gives me anything except for shots!! ;op
Love, Raelyn.... And Rose, my BEAUTIFULLY UNIQUE "Mystery Dog"!!

  8. I agree with Raelyn! Your header picture is adorable! Love the smiling faces!
So funny that the 3 of you took turns waiting in the car for your appointments! I wonder what would've happened if you all sat in the waiting room! Caos, whining, probably?
So glad you got your reward of going to the soccer field afterwards!

  9. Daisy, what's with the slow eating? If you don't inhale your food, one of the others-maybe even Somedoggie-will partake of your meal.

  14. Oh Roxy, we terriers can be such drama queens when left alone! I do the same thing ~ bark and whine until Ma appears. She should know not to leave a little helpless terrier like myself alone for more than 10 seconds! hehehe Anyhu, I am so glad to hear you pups are doin' great! I guess the romp at the soccer fields made it ALMOST worth it!

    Kisses,

  15. You mean you don't all go in together? We do and there's lots of neat stuff to examine while someone is getting checked out. Samba can work the up and down table and she has even played with the computer. Tess, Lola and Norma Jean like to splash in the little sink and Fudge and Sky take all the pamphlets out of the rack and spread them around on the floor. Try it next time, it's loads of fun.

  22. No!!! Not the vet. The sheer deviousness of the plan... bribery with the soccer field. HMPH! Shame on you!
