Two subjects

I, Daisy, have to tell you what happened this morning.
SHE had to work today, so that meant that Bella and I had to go on a HER walk.  A HER walk means that we just pee-mail...just walking.
It's not our favourite kind of walk; but hey, it IS a walk.
Anyway, we were belting along when we saw a CAT.  It stopped and got very low to the ground, near a storm water drain.  When we got near, that CAT walked right up to us and sniffed our noses!
We were shocked!
In fact, we just stood there like statues!
We've never been that close to a CAT...usually they run from us.
Finally, when SHE dragged us down the street, we recovered enough to bark and lunge.
But that CAT just looked at us!

Subject 2
Kendra stayed home.  She can't go on our long, fast walks.
Kendra (with her wonky beard)
But we took her on a slow--dead slow-- walk around the reserve this afternoon. (At least we could sniff everything.)  Kendra is still just being herself.  She  barks at anyone who comes near the house, tries to intimidate Bella to steal her food, alerts us to meal or snack times, digs holes and chases her ball.  She is well.  Just slow.

  1. the CAT walked right up to yous and sniffed your noses??? gosh!! that's one very brave CAT... or was it a doggie in a CAT halloweenie costume? Its halloweenie tomorrow.. some doggie might wanna be in a CAT costume you knows... hehhehehee

Kendra might be slow... but at least she is digging holes and chasing the balls.. hehhehehee.. love her wonky beard!

  2. Hehehe, now that's funny about the cat. Bet it took you by surprise. Cats can be sneaky for sure. Kendra, Rory says the best way is to be slow. Very slow. It conserves energy for eating and sleeping. No worries, and love, Stella and Rory

  3. Oh, those 'before the human has to rush off to work' walks can be rather tedious.
    But Daisy, beware of cats.....
    Toodle pip!

  4. Kendra - Nothing wrong with slow. Nothing at all .

  5. We do not care for cats in our neck of the woods. Hannah is so territorial I think she would eat one if mommy and daddy let her get close enough. Hugs for Kendra. It is OK to be slow...we all get older at some point.

  6. Really?? A kitteh came right up and sniffed you??? WOWZERS!! And Kendra, we agree with Angus. Nothing wrong with slow at all. Enjoy, girl!!

  7. Hey Daisy!
Wow, that's one brave and lucky kitty! I think slow is just fine...good sniffing time!
    Grr and Woof,
    Sarge, COP

  8. OoH I am not sure what I would do if a kitteh was close enough to me to sniff my nose. ;)

    Woofs and Licks,
    Maggie Mae

  9. Nothing wrong with being slow - all that matters is if Kendra is happy:)

We can't believe you got nose to nose with a cat!!! How did you maintain such self-control? Maybe you have made a new furiend.

  10. WOW! A kitteh came right up and sniffed your nosies? That is one BRAVE kitteh. But I guess you showed it who was boss when you remembered later to bark and lunge. Good job!

Speaking of MOM is the slowest walker EVER! She's always saying, "Don't pull so hard, Mayzie." Well, if she would walk faster, I wouldn't HAVE to pull so hard. She's prolly be a pawfect match for Kendra.

    Wiggles & Wags,

  11. There's nothing wrong with slow! Morgan is pretty slow these days with just three legs that work, but she gets there.

Watch out for cats, they can scratch your noses. It happened to us.

  12. Holy Gwalk A Moley !! That Cat just walked up and TOUCHED your NOSES??? I KNOW it is a TRUE story...beclaws you girrrrrls would NEVER yank our Walkin Strings.. BUTT it SURELY is AMAZING!!

I like a nice LEISURELY walk too, Kendra.

  13. BOL you had an entertaining walk for sure! We would have screamed at that kitty
    Benny & Lily
Pee S we hear they taste like chicken

  14. Kendra could come with me on a walk--While my husband takes the youngin's, I do what's called the 'geriatric walk.' Guess which one we see our cat on most of the time?

  15. We've both had cats approach us like they wanted to be our best friend and we're in shock until it hits our brains what's really happening and then we tell them to get lost!

    Love ya lots,
    Maggie and Mitch

  16. I knew cats were from go Kendra...nothing wrong with slow....just ask the tortouis...

  17. LOL! that was really funny, thanks for sharing it!

  19. Glad to hear she's doing well. Nothing wrong with being slow....

I should know. I'm as slow as cold molasses.
