First Frog of the Season

Happy Monday everyone...and Halloween.

Last night, just before we were let out for business  the last time, Bella sat at the door looking as if she HAD to go out.

When the door was opened, she pounced and brought this little frog inside!  SHE was yelling NO and chasing the poor thing around--quite a performance.
SHE was trying to head it off before it got under something--chasing it with a container.
(But was too chicken to pick it up)
We just watched the fun.

Finally it jumped into our water dish.
And SHE was able to take outside.
Bella looked hopefully at the refilled bowl....maybe another one would magically appear.

(SHE was appalled at how dirty the floor was in the pictures so SHE had to clean the floor straight-away.)

  2. A Halloween frog. Do you think it was a witch in disguise?

You haven't seen messy floors till you've seen ours.

  3. Like Sue said - A Halloween Frog. Or do you thing it was something else disguised as a frog?
    Looks like fun to us..

  4. We didn't see any dirt - we were too fixated on that frog - he was sooooooooo green. We can't believe Bella actually picked it up in her mouth. Too bad Bella didn't find her Prince Charming:)

  10. Hey great job your mum girls!! Mine loves frogs but is real squeemmishhh about actually touching them. When she was travelling in the tropics of Northern Australia she often found herself sharing a shower cubicle in caravan parks with them!! BOL!!!! I would have paid to see that!

I am impressed at the number of pics you got given the kkkerfuffle that would have been goin' on!

PeeS: Mums says to tell your mum that "we all USED to have clean floors, then the dogs came along". You should see how much my floffy paws can collect and bring inside!

  13. Given today's header, we are wondering that the frog did not end up in your witches brew....

  14. Oh that froggie was so cute. Do you get many near your place? Mum wishes her floors were only that dirty!! No worries, and love, Stella and Rory

  15. Yike! The frog looks so plasticky! IF it were my Mom, she would have freaked out (freaking me out too in the process as she'd be screaming 'NO, NO, NO...! on top of her lungs!). PLUS she'd have thrown my water bowl away if the frog had been swimming in it. (Once, a lizard was found in her bread toaster machine & she threw the toaster away!)

  21. SHE should kiss it. What are the odds right. It could turned into a handsome prince and sweep her off her feet and she won't have to clean the floors after that.. hehehhehehee

btw.. we would not pick it up too... cos its so green and slimy...

  24. You had yourself a good ol' fashioned froggie rodeo! YEEHAW! He was kinda cute. And it was kinda smart of him to jump in your water bowl like that so SHE could take him outside. But I'm sure sorry another one didn't magically appear for Bella.

  27. I am quite glad that the frog got away. He was lucky he hopped into your house. he wouldn't have made it back to the wild in one piece in the houses of SOME dogs I know.

    Love and licks, Winnie
