Seasonal Changes

Recently it has become VERY dark for our morning walk.  Seems like only a few weeks ago we were going out just before 6 am when it started to get light.  Now, it's nearly seven.  It's much cooler, too.  The cicadas are gone and Bella hasn't found a frog at night to terrorise in over a week.
We don't have to keep the house closed up during the day to keep out the heat and the air conditioner has been off.
Though our walks are later, they have been longer!
The other day, we found this leaf......

Autumn has arrived.
However, our Magnolia is confused.  For some reason it blossomed again and grew new leaves.  Usually it is the one tree that lets us know when Spring is arriving.  Crazy!

We just love the changes. Autumn in Australia is a scottie season.

    Today we had 35 degrees in Adelaide and then at Puppy Agility this evening it was hot and started to rain! It's steamy now!! However, the nights are cooler now and I can cuddle up to my people for warmth!! ALL GOOD! Tail Wuggles, Rubie.

    Isn't it grrrrrreat to have the furst few cooler days of Autumn after a long HOT summer!!! It is our favorite time of year here, cuz we always have da most brutal heats and humidities.

    Autumn would be nice.. cooler days... and lotta leaves to roll on. Didya find koala yet? I am almost able to tell your girls apart now... :) if the picture shows their full face.

    Looks like blog world will be heading into some good seasons, autumn for you, spring for us. We still love our snow, but the spring with all the new greenery and flowers is very pretty. Our days are getting longer so that means more opportunities for nighttime walks. That will make us very happy.

    Autumn is my favorite season of all. Those first cool, crisp, clear mornings when a sweater is welcome are wonderful especially when they follow a particularly hot summer. Enjoy the change of seasons, girls! (I like the photo with the moon. I like thinking that you see the same moon we see here in California.)

    We're looking forward to spring here in central PA. But....last night we had snow - about 2" - and the little spring bulbs that were sprouting are all covered up.

    We also like Fall. We are heading into Spring here. We are starting to see little buds popping out and up. It is something that your seasons & ours are just opposite...

    Jeepers I was just saying the other day...the mornings are brighter earlier and the sun isn't going down until after 5:30pm....spring is a comin'...yeah. So that means you guys get the reverse...what a crazy mixed up planet we live on!
