Last week, we got mail, yes we are very late posting. It was from Oskar--this great sign to keep us safe in case of fire. We put it up on our door. SHE had to clean the inside window before SHE could put it up; but has obviously not done the outdoor side yet.
(Note: The cat in the WW post yesterday, was spotted along the cycleway--a place we sometimes go lead free. Now it has been added to the KCAs (Known Cat Areas) so looks like we won't be running free there in future.) Oh, we were finally dragged away.........sigh.
Oskar also included this beautiful Valentine's card with his handsome self on it!
Now we thought it was sweet of him to send us the card, BUT we think it was really for Bella.
BECAUSE,
on his blog, he professed his love for her AND asked her out on a date!
Bella is sooooooo excited. She's been groomed--no more fuzzy ears and banana tail.
She's been trying on various bandannas for the big date and has decided to go with this one........
Made, and sent to us by The Rocky Creek Scotties: Lilly, Piper, Carrleigh and Ruairi! (Thanks)
The date is for this coming weekend! So come back next week to hear all about it!

Good to see life is back to normal, including your sandy beach walk. Bella, you look stunning in your bandanna! We can't wait to read all about your date with Oskar.
ReplyDeleteAbby shares your natural/unhealthy [depending on one's point of view] interest in cats. Thanks for the explanation on catheads, too. We have something similar here, but it's got a different name that our senile mama can't remember at the moment.

Spiny burr grass, called Gentle Annie in parts of the U.S. It's a danger to grazing animals, too [cattle, horses] - cuts their tongues and gums, and throats if swallowed. It's native to North America and was apparently introduced into Australia and NZ. Sorry! Makes a change, as we're usually reading about dangerous critters [like snakeheads] and plants introduce INTO the U.S. from foreign parts. Didn't realize we were also exporting nasties.
