We're still here, just too hot to do anything. A week of hot (100-107 F), humid weather makes us too tired to do much. So after our long early morning walk, we can be found in various positions around the house snoozing....waiting for dinner and our evening walk.

Bella had a trip to the vets' yesterday. She's been scratching like mad.....driving HER nuts. Can't find a reason, probably a plant she rubbed against at Millie's. She's on some tablets. That means Bella's tablet is wrapped in cheese and Kendra and I get some cheese, too!

Glad you were not involved in the catagory 5 cyclone! Sorry it's so darn hot. To bad you can't send some of that heat to our furiends in the midwest and east coast! They're freezing their tooshies off!

We hope you quit scratching. Holly had that problem some months ago and had to get a shot for it. We are freezing here....somewhere there has to be a nice place that's not too hot and not too cold! Lots of love, Debbie and Holly

ReplyDeleteOn a serious note, we hope Bella finds out what is wrong with her! Daisy scratches a lot too but not as much as Bella and I think it is an allergic reaction to some kind of food!
We are hoping the pills help Bella's itchies. That's sure no fun for her!

Sounds a lot like the way our summers go. Too hot to do much of anything but snooze. But right now it is cold here and we are loving our snow.

I am soooo jealous! It's been below zero here in Upstate NY and it's been snowing every day. I hope Bella's feeling better soon. The itchies are no fun! My Beagle, Libby, is fighting an ear infection now and gets her meds in cheese, too.

Not as hot as it was in your neck of the woods, but Lucy doesn't do well in the heat, so she mostly laid around all day until it was cool enough for us to go for a walk! I hope Bella's scratching goes away. There's nothing worse that being HOT and ITCHY at the same time.
ReplyDeleteOh We are so sorry it is so hot where you are. Here in the Northeast we have five feet of snow and lots of ice. I guess somewhere in the world there is always the opposite thing going on. I do hope Wyatt shared a bone with Stanzi- and we would love to send you some of these biscuts- they are so yummy- love

Hi ya girls, still hot huh?? In answer to your question - yea it's been much more humid in our hot weather too - but we have had a reprieve the last couple of days - much cooler and today (when I got to go to the beach!) was a LOVELY sunny 24!! BLISS! Looks like it's gonna get a bit hotter but nothing like it was for the next week or so. So you got it sussed - lay around when it's too hot to do much - and be careful of the cheese, my mum said too much of a good thing is..... not good for the waistline! Boooo! Tail Wuggles, Rubie.

Oh the heat...I remember the way I feel in the heat...really not looking frwd to that unless of course I go the beach for a dunk and I know the guys will do that. So keep still during the day and have fun in the mornings and evenings. Cheers!
