See these white shoes. Well everytime she puts them on, it means WALKIES. If she puts on other shoes we know that she's going out--so we just curl up and go to sleep. This has been the arrangement forever. Now, that the weather is colder, she's wearing them all the time. She wears them around the house (or another white pair) AND she wears them out when we aren't allowed to go.It is sooooo CONFUSING. I tell you, I can't rest. I have to follow her everywhere just in case it really is walkies time and she forgets me. I'm getting very tired and jumpy. AND all because she doesn't stick to the rules. Humans... really!
We know how you feel. We can always tell when Mom is getting ready to leave us and we "kennel up" without being asked to do so. Sometimes she fools us though and we jump in our kennels and she doesn't lock the door.

ReplyDeleteOh, boy. Yes, I can see how this is quites the predicament. I'm not sure what you can do about it, other than keeps doing what you're doing. After all, you most definitely wouldn't want her to go for a walkie without you!

Oh yah, I understand completely. My mom throws me off on things like that too. HUMANS!! Now, how would they like it if we pulled tricks like that to them huh?? How bout the shoe on the other foot!!!
