Duncan & Hamish haven't started wiping their beards on the carpet, YET - but I'm sure it's coming. My four others did all the time and I'm so glad I have a carpet steam cleaner - the bottom of the couch was also a favorite place and, luckily, the cleaner has an attachment for upholstery!!! Wiping our beards is very important. We use the sofa a lot and whenever possible we use someone's lap. You should hear the noise the humans make when we do that. The Porties
Hi Kendra - you are a pup of impeccible manners, good for you. We always find a good woozle-wipe on the run (or the humans leg) to be a sign of good breeding! Schnauzer snuggles - JD and Max.
Good manners are essential for us Scotties and keeping up appearances matters too. I don't like having my beard brushed much so keeping it clean is a MUST (usually I clean it on granny's skirt - he he he)

The birds Bella chased were galahs--a type of cockatoo. They're VERY common around here.
