Some of you asked about our Goat Horn treats.
They are delicious!
They seem softer than antlers because we
completely demolished one in two days.
This is all that's left of the second one.
Our deer antlers, that we've been chewing on for a year or so, just have tooth marks.
No problems with digestion.....etc.
Not much smell, so we could eat inside.....
We think they're a great treat!
Wow that's quick work..two days...they must haf been a great treat

I sadly have a howl-i-copter mom and she thinks I could hurt my teeth... and that antlers have no intense smell? .... hmmm maybe you can bury them in the back yard for some months?

Hmmmm. I wasn't so keen on antlers. Maybe I need to try these next time!!
ReplyDeleteThey sound a lot better than the antlers. When Dip chewed the antlers it made her gums bleed. Might be because she has no teeth though, haha.

interesting
ReplyDeleteLike Duncan, I find antlers boring - too hard - but those goat horns do sound promising. Time to go goat hunting!
ReplyDeleteToodle pip!
Bertie.
Gonna have to find me a goat horn to gnaw on!
ReplyDeleteWe had antlers sitting in our toy box for 4 years before Mom threw them away - we wouldn't even look at them :)
ReplyDeleteThanks for the info - we have antlers here too, but neither of us is crazy about them. We would much prefer a nice meaty bone:)
ReplyDeleteWoos - Ciara and Lightning
I'm with Bella if it is to hard to chew and you cannot swallow ~ well why bother. Lee has showed me hoofs and antlers at the store and I just look at her with the are you crazy look and go for the chewy treat aisle.

ReplyDeleteI have a deer antler and I don't really like it. I'm a thinking Mom needs to invest in some goat horns.
ReplyDeleteAroo to you,
Sully
The antlers are dessert after you ate the deer?
ReplyDeleteOh boy that's a new one

I like the idea of the goat antlers being softer since Mr. Bill broke a tooth and cracked a couple likely chewing deer antlers. We'll have to look for goat antlers, haven't seen them here.
ReplyDeleteFrankly I like goats and everything about goats...they are cute!!
ReplyDeleteHugs madi your bfff
Yes interesting -we did not like antlers - we like thinks that have some give to them.

Our mom thinks that goats are smelly animals so thank you for letting her know that the horns don't smell yucky!
