We had a HUGE storm last night. Lots of Thunder, wind, rain
and even hail.
We went out and barked at the thunder, but we (Roxy) didn't like the hail.
Today has been VERY cold and blustery.
We've stayed inside--after our morning walk.
We've stayed inside--after our morning walk.
SHE forgot to buy our bedtime cookies AGAIN,
and didn't want to go back out, so as
(bouncing) Bertie says SHE did
some Bad Weather Baking.
They are Peanut Butter Puppy Poppers from Bullwrinkle.com
2 cups whole-wheat flour
(We used plain, white flour)
1tbsp. baking powder
1 cup peanut butter
1 cup milk
Preheat oven to 375°F/190°C
In a bowl, combine flour and baking powder.
In another, mix PB and milk (we melted the PB) then
add to dry ingredients and mix well...place dough on
lightly floured surface and knead, roll out to 1/4-inch
thickness and cut out shapes. Bake for about 20 min.
cool on rack, store in an airtight container.
We love these and SHE says they're dead easy to make.
Omgoodness! It's super hot here. 100s!

ReplyDeleteThey used to make something similar. They stopped because Kenzie was allergic to most everything and that includes the ingredients. I think Westies are allergic to themselves.
