We've Got WORMS!!

Today, a big box arrived at our house.

 It's our new Worm Farm.

SHE put it together.

At the moment it only has one Worm Bed Tray.
There are supposed to be 500 worm in here.
We didn't count them.
Hopefully, they'll multiply and eat our fruit, vegie peelings,
 and paper.
Then the other trays will be added as needed.
In a few weeks, we should be able to draw off Worm Wee
with that little tap.
(The porous cloth will prevent the worms falling into the wee
and drowning.)
Then SHE'll water down the wee concentrate
to fertilize the plants and garden.
(It's on a small table so small scotties won't play with it.)
So we've got worms!

  25. How fascinating! I'm afraid Heather would eat all 500 worms if we had them here. She snatches them up any time she sees one on the sidewalk. Yuck! I love how 'green' you are with this, though. Maybe one day we'll do something like this! Much love, The Scottie Mom.

  31. Hahahaha! Worm's wee! We have that kit here, but call it 'worm tea'. We like worm wee much better! It is shockingly so good for your plants. You know I like to eat worms, so it has to be out of my reach. We even put newspapers and coffee grounds in ours.
