Today we'd like to Honour.....

One of HER favourite children's authors, with a Seuss-like poem.

If I Were A Scottie...

If I were a scottie

I'd be more aloof,

I wouldn't be snuggly

And that's the troof.

If I were a scottie,

I'd have long, long furs

And after our walkies 

it'd be full of burrs.

 

If I were a scottie

I would be DOOMED,

To brushings and clippings

When I was groomed.

I'm glad I'm NOT a scottie

And I have short hair

Because it is easy

It's more wash 'n' wear.

So being a Spotty 

Is good enough for me,

Being a Spotty 

Is PERFECT, you see!
