When the temperatures rise, we hear 'Green Sleeves' coming closer and closer to our house.
It's the ice cream van!
It's filled with cold, yummy ice cream....
sprinkles....
sweet things of all kinds.....
or so we've been told.
Guess which underprivileged dog have NEVER been allowed to have anything??!!
Lemme guess...you!

We have an ice cream truck in my town too and they don't have anything for me either. How cool would that be if they did sell Frosty Paws or something for us four legged costumers.
ReplyDeleteAh, memories of childhood. It is several decades since I heard an ice-cream van playing Greensleeves…
ReplyDeleteCheers, Gail.
mean mom not giving you anything :P
ReplyDeleteYou are gonna have to figure out how to get you some of that wonderful ice cream. My favorite is strawberry and it was Twix's favorite too. When Twix was sick it was about the only thing she would eat. I got your card today. When momma saw it she said.....That is one smart lady! I don't know what she meant but she was talking about your mom!
ReplyDeleteOh Daisy you should get something just once. If I were there I would treat you.
ReplyDeleteThanks for being a friend

Don't feel as you're the only one. Try being on an extremely low-fat diet. Low-fat means low-taste. What's a foodie to do?
ReplyDeleteThat is so cruel, so near and yet so far. We hope you get an ice cream one of these days. Could we have your email address, we would love to send you our Christmas card?
ReplyDeleteDip Bridge and Elliot x

ReplyDeleteNola
We've never had ice cream from the ice cream man either. But we got into this fabulous cheese on Thanksgiving bol. And our truck doesn't play "Greensleeves"...ours plays "Do your ears hang low, do they wobble to and fro? Can you tie 'em in a knot, can you tie 'em in a bow..." Gotta love Texas....
ReplyDeleteOh no! You could have a vanilla cone! I hope the situation improves soon!
ReplyDeleteI cannot imagine it being hot... we are about to have a couple of feet of snow!
We would have thought you all would be barking mad at that ice cream truck.
ReplyDeleteMillie & Walter
Mom says she misses warm weather about now!
ReplyDeleteI always get a taste of the humans ice-cream!! I sorta go nuts over it!!!
ReplyDeleteTail Wuggles, Rubie xxx

This is not right! I mean...it's coming right to your house. What can the objection be?
ReplyDeleteSo unfair - time to put those paws down in protest!!!
ReplyDeleteWoos - Phantom, Ciara, and Lightning
Ice cream is the bomb diggity. Sorry to hear you gals have never tried any!
ReplyDeleteIce cream is the nicest on a hot summer day. Hope SHE shares some with you next time the van comes along Daisy :)

ReplyDeleteMollie and Alfie
next time your mom gets ice cream, run around and around her until she gets dizzy and drops the ice cream. You will just have to help clean up the mess. heheheh
ReplyDeleteBentley
Your kidding! Cheapo hasn't bought you one yet!
ReplyDeleteLily
Your Christmas Card came today. You three looked so festive. Love Daisy's silver whiskers.
ReplyDeleteSweet William The Scot
It's technically winter here - but the ice cream truck comes through even if it is raining. Crazy. You need a plan to raid that truck. It's not fair that you don't ever get to have a treat from it!
ReplyDeleteWe don't have an ice cream truck in our neighbourhood, you should get some for all of us who can't! Lee and Phod
ReplyDeleteYou've never had ice cream??? That is abuse. We're calling the authorities. Dad takes us for ice cream usually after the vet has done something horrible to us. If we waited for Mom, we'd be in the same boat as you.
ReplyDeleteMorgan, Sebastian, the Porties, Syd and Mac
Maybe you could all get together and rush the truck and steal some!! Good luck
