Hideout

Roxy has a hideout.
She eats her bones in there and hides her toys.
She 'pruned' a doorway through the Nandina.
She does not like Bella or me to go in there.

It's under a Callistemon  (bottlebrush) Little John.
This is a close up taken last week when it was blooming.
Do you have a hideout?

  1. That is a good hideout Roxy, we really had to look to find you.
We can hide anywhere because we are so little, Mum is always screming where's Bridge/Dip/Elliot thinking we are lost.

  2. That is an impressive hideout. We don't have one outside but inside it is behind the headboard of one of the beds. Then I bark for peeps to retrieve my stuff when I want it. Peeps get annoyed. Wonder why a mancky bones is well good? Have a fabulous Friday.

  4. Very cool hide out, we dont have a hide out. Except Ping likes to hide under the dining room table when its time for tooth brushing and Tubby hides under the air conditioner in the rain. Both are not very good hiding spots

  7. Roxy, this is a great hideout. We don't have any plants in the backyard, so poor Freedom, Casper & Nikki have nothing.

  11. My girls don't have hideouts and they don't have Nandina or Bottlebrush, but we had both of those plants at our old house and they grow beautifully up here in the Australia of the North.

  27. Annie hides food in her bed. When all the covers are in a mess it's a sure sign that she has buried something!
I'm sure Roxy is waiting for Ernie to join her in there :-)

  30. Scruffy's hideout is out in the open on the lounge chair outside. She suns herself and when we spot her she comes in and acts like she was just hanging around. Roxy is very clever.

  36. That's a great hideout! Since we've recently moved, the pack is still trying to find places to hide out. Hiker of course has her crate (with extra and fluffy bedding or she gets upset)and nobody is allowed in there but her.

  37. Pawsome hideout :)

  40. Love those flowers on the bush, wonder if it would grow here in Cincy? I have a hideout, it is under the big bed, when Lee goes by I jump out and bark. I also use the frame as my back scratcher like in your last post. I got a two for one you might say.

  41. I've got a couple. Mama found one of them (boo hoo) just before we went on holiday, so I've had to find another - and guess what - I did. She couldn't find me anywhere last night and I only snook out when She wasn't looking! So I still have a secret bolt-hole just for myself, for those quiet times, when I need to get away from the Grooming Bag, and the prying fingers trying to remove sticky buds or twigs collected from our walks .... oh my and boys life is never dull!

  42. Do I have a hide out?

    Hmmm.....good question. I don't believe I do.

I'm going to have to work on this one, very soon!

  43. Of course we do! LOL. We have crates to hide in...We got Buchi a new crate with lots of peep holes. He usually hides there with his stuffed animals.
