We went to the river this morning. Look at the fog!
The trees along the river were ghosty.
But the other side of the track had brilliant blue skies.
The Cockatoos were enjoying the sun's warmth after a cold night.
A couple of Galahs joined them. All were making a loud, noisy racket!
We were first there, so we headed along the track.
You can see how the fog is hanging around the river side.
This is HER favourite old tree.
This is a close-up.
Now we're on the opposite side of the Reserve. Nice and clear.
It was still a bit foggy when we got back around to the river.
But our friends were there and it was time to play!
That sure is spooky, love the old twisted tree:) What a fabulous walk you guys went on xx00xx

So atmospheric. Especially when it's jut clearing.
ReplyDeleteWe know all about fog in Aberdeen.
What a great way to start a day .
ReplyDeleteOooo... Very ghostly gums!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful and we love the old tree. Have a wonderful Wednesday.
ReplyDeleteBest wishes Molly
Isn't that strange. It happens the same way on our beach, one second it is sunny and the next the mist rolls in off the sea.
ReplyDeleteLove the gnarly old tree. If Mum lived there, she would spend 10 hours a day looking up at those wild cockatoos - amazing!

What an absolutely beautiful and peaceful place to stroll. Give HER a raise for the lovely pictures capturing the fog. Hugs Madi your BFFF
ReplyDeleteDefinitely and old twisted knotty tree. Wonder how many doggies have left pee mail on the bark over its years of life.
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by my blog and wishing me a happy birthday.

Oh very cool! I thought you were at a spooky cemetery before I read the captions. Looks like you gals had a great time at the foggy river.
ReplyDeleteThe fog is just beautiful! HER favorite old tree looks like a giant claw at the base that's trying to reach out and grab you girls! YIKES!
ReplyDeleteLove ya lots♥
Mitch and Molly
Wow it's so foggy!! How did you guys even see?!?!
ReplyDeleteLove Milo :)
Looks like that here, too, but ours is due to super high humidity and heat. Talk about window condensation showing up our lovely noseprints and paw prints. You've for sure got better walking weather now, though. Poor Jed and his double fur coat can't stay outside long and comes in with his tongue hanging out.
ReplyDeleteWow, what a great trip to the river, Ladies! I think that foggy scenery is really beautiful. My Mom loves those pretty birdies and I think I'd like to pee on that tree. BOL ahem.
ReplyDeleteGrr and Woof,
Sarge, COP
What a beautiful area. As I've said before, it reminds me a lot of California. I love the spooky fog.
ReplyDeleteWhat fantastic scenery. And that Tree . I Loves Trees. I bet there was lots and lots of peemail to read. I could've been there for days and days! Mama keeps looking out for birds and stuff, don't think she'll catch a glimpse of cockatoos around our nature reserve, but she's always optimistic Ha! Ha! Looks like you all had a great walk.
ReplyDeleteLovely fog and bird photos! It looks like you had a beautiful time!
ReplyDeleteWhat fantastical pictures! It looks like there is many, many things to pee on in that beautiful place.

Mom says those pictures are beautiful but we don't like fog. We can feel it on our faces but we can't see it. When we have fog at our house we ask to stay inside.
ReplyDeleteWe have only four budgies and they make a racket so we can only guess how noisy a whole crowd of cockatoos might be. Still Mom thinks they're gorgeous, pretties than our starlings.

Slowly making our way back to the blogs and stopping by to thank you for your friendship.
ReplyDeleteWe want to thank you so very much for your kind words of comfort and friendship after our very sudden loss of Thunder. We are all still very sad, but the support and love from all of our friends from all over the world is helping to heal our broken hearts. We are sure that Thunder Dunder is now in a very happy place and also very thankful to have so many wonderful friends.
