Yesterday (April Fool's Day) SHE finally finished a 1000-piece jigsaw puzzle SHE's been working on. It was a lot more difficult than it looks.
Take another look....
Turns out it was a 999-piece puzzle....
The mystery is:
Did it come minus a piece.....
Or has Somedoggy had a little snack?
Oh, how familiar this story is! Mom finished a 750 piece puzzle a few weeks ago, but it was really only 734 pieces - some pup was very hungry here. Next puzzle will be assembled with more care to where it is stored.
ReplyDeleteOur Mom LOVES doing jigsaw puzzles.
Woos - Phantom, Thunder, Ciara, and Lightning
Well, if it was at our house, we'd be lookin' for somedoggy...just sayin'...

Hee hee! Maybe you could craft the missing piece from a dog biscuit box or something...just sayin'

ReplyDeleteNo doggy would eat a puzzle piece!!! ;-)
Tail Wuggles, Rubie
I'll bet it drove you guys crazy trying to find the missing piece.
ReplyDeleteOh dear that is awful! I do have a question of you all about living down under, what area do you live in? I am talking to a family form Sydney! I am leaning very much to going with them. I would love to hear more about living down under!
ReplyDeleteOur Mom and Dad like to do those puzzles, too. And we like to steal pieces when they're not looking. It's best if we can find one that belongs in the middle.

ReplyDeleteBella ?
ReplyDeleteHaha! We know the feeling! And guaranteed, that was the one piece SHE was looking for the whole time!
ReplyDeleteAh just wait till it be pooped out then it'll be all complete.
ReplyDeletePuddles
Well, if it was a snack, I am sure it will turn up soon.
ReplyDeleteSlobbers,

It must be the spotty dog that is hiding it... in them tummy *LOL* Hopefully it will come out in one piece :)
ReplyDeleteHee Hee - guess one of the pups need a wee bit more fiber that day :)
ReplyDeleteStewey
Oh I hate when that happens! We love doing 1000 piece puzzles. The hardest one ever was flags from every country waving in the wind across the puzzle. And, it was a magic eyes puzzle. So if you can focus and do magic eyes you see an image. The image was a runner with the olympic torch.
ReplyDeleteSweet William The Scot
Oh don't you just hate it when you finish a jig saw puzzle and it's missing a piece! That looks like a good puzzle, too!
ReplyDeleteBOL! I hope it tasted good.
ReplyDeleteSlobbers
That is a very interesting question!! BOL
ReplyDeleteWe hate that when it happens to us. Mom had a M & M puzzle and it had one piece missing too, she bout died!!

Oh My! That's so not fun! We bet you girls couldn't stopping howling with laughter!
ReplyDeleteWe assume your mom's box security is good, so we're guessing factory error. Mama doesn't do puzzles, but when she's working on something comparable, first thing she does is count all the pieces to be sure everything is there before she starts to assemble.
