Happy Bathday!

 Yes, you read that correctly.....Happy Bathday!

Please ignore the horribly spotted window caused by dogs shaking after baths.

Not that we like baths, but we love Saturdays and that's when we have baths.  Today was no exception.
It stopped raining yesterday about mid-day.
So this morning we went to the Devil's Elbow even though SHE knew it would be muddy.
All of our friends were there.
These are old pictures because SHE didn't take the camera today.

We really enjoyed the mud today.  We wallowed, swam and raced through the mud flats and puddles. Roxy rolled on dead frogs and other smelly stuff.
We jumped on all the peeps, shaking dirty water and mud on them.
It was a fabulous morning.
When we got home, Bella and I just went straight into the laundry room.  We knew it was bath day.
But Roxy jumped back into the car and tried to hide.
Didn't work.
Then everyone and everything had baths:  us, HER, HER clothes, our car blanket.....the car interior.
Can't wait for next Saturday.
The baths are worth it!
(And Jed and Abby you're right, SHE's the one with walking-in-the-rain issues.)

    We thought that was a "frosted" window in the laundry!! Another great day at the river, even better because of the MUD!! BOL!! We have just had almost 2mm of rain and mum is real happy about it, now she wants MORE!!
    Our garden is so thirsty - we haven't had any rain in yonkers!!

    Not sure which is worse. Gail just throws me in a mountain stream if I get muddy on walks. (She's even been known to break the ice) A warm bath indoors doesn't sound such a bad deal really!

    Wow, happy barkday to you!!! Sounds like a perfect day to me. Mud and dead things and walkies with furiends...great stuff! I agree that even a bath would be okay after that much fun.

    HAHA!! Roxy is wearing her "invisibility fur." That's what we call it at our house! A fun day for everyone else. Roxy, you'll get used to it. We have. Now we just go directly to the bath-spot after a hike at the stream :-)

    We would love the fun on Saturday in the mud, but not those baths! We have a yard of muddy spots now, lots of rain. Mom is trying to keep us inside, but we keep begging to go out.

    Funny, we have issues with bath day at our house too! Duke hates them and runs for cover, Lucy jumps right in the tub and sucks it up.

    I'm glad you enjoyed your baths. My dogs aren't attuned to bath day. They act like Roxy. Good thing the leash was invented.

    Oh poor Roxy, don't you know that hiding won't work. When the humans decide to give baths, nothing will stop them. Might as well just get it over. You can always roll in the dirt while you're still wet. That'll show them!
