R O B O T!!
Because SHE's been having loads problems with those new
prove-you're-not-a-robot word verification thingys!!!
Sometimes it takes her three goes to decipher a word!
(And SHE uses some very blue language.)
Do we have those on our blog?
Just testing.
ReplyDeleteYes you do. (And so do we. And Gail has just wasted half an hour trying to figure out how to change it. Please anyone, let us know you can help).
Toodle pip!
Bertie.
PS to my last email. I changed my blog to the new blogger interface last week, and that seems to have lead to the word verification change. So I decided to remove the word verification (at least temporarily) but you can't do this in the new interface. You can if you go back to the old interface (press the gear symbol below the profile picture on the new interface dashboard, and then you can chose the old interface). What I'm not sure about is, having gone back to the old interface, if I switched the verification back on, it would be the old, easier single word verification or the new almost impossible one?
ReplyDeleteHaving written all this, let's hope I can prove I'm not a robot now...
My mum has to squint and put on her "power glasses" to try and decipher those stoopid words (one is much worse than the other) PLEASE turn them off and approve your own comments prior to publication. My mum will be much more motivated to leave comments because she is losing patience FAST!!!
ReplyDeletePeeS: Grumble grumble grumble. She is now saying if we WERE robots - maybe we could read those damn things!!!!
Tail Wuggles, Rubie
All of a sudden you seem to have two words for verification. Yesterday I'm sure there was only on . Do we have them ?
ReplyDeleteAngus is right...
ReplyDeleteWhoops, sorry, published before I was done. But I noticed it last time I visited your blog--But there's no word verification now...
ReplyDeleteOur mommy has the same problem! Maybe she is robotic too!
ReplyDeleteLicks,
Buddy
Ugh we hope that we don't have any of those. Mom finds it just annoying to try to type those in.
ReplyDeleteWe took off the word verification thingie from our blog. We are seeing the double word one everywhere. We would suggest you put your settings to no word verification requires and instead put a blog owner approval required for all posts older than five days. We have done that for a while now and we seem to have gotten rid of the spammers with the weird languages.
ReplyDeleteThe Momster is also struggling to read those codes too.
Woos - Phantom, Thunder, Ciara and Lightning
Our mum is having the same problem too- some of the words are just too hard to read!

I'm still on the old Blogger interface and when I checked just now, found that I have the two word verification. I followed the advice above and switched comment moderation from 14 days to 5 days and turned off the word verification. Crossing my fingers... word verification of any sort is difficult from an iPhone, I've discovered! This computers are wonderful and frustrating, aren't they!
ReplyDeleteBOL at your mom's robotness......or lack of robotness!
ReplyDeleteMy Mum's having the same problems - seems there's a lot of part robots out there now BOL Magic xx
ReplyDeleteSome of the word verification is worse than Blogspot. I have Scottie vision and can't make the things right sometimes. Is SHE R2D2 or 3CPO?
ReplyDeleteI'm having problems deciphering these word verifications too, girls. Sometimes it takes me 3 times too! Does this mean that I'm getting old and I need glasses?!
ReplyDeleteLove ya lots,
Mitch
Momma is screaming HBO words at those stupid new verification words! 2-3 tries later!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteBenny & Lily
I had NEVER seen the DOUBLE ones until THIS MORNING and the furst one actually said: polytheism onsecsit ???? POLYTHEISM??? FUR CRYIN OUT LOUD!!!
ReplyDeleteI suspect that this is not gonna last too long... it is way too difficult and time consuming fur us to do. I totally agree with the OP Pack. THAT is the WAY to GO!!!
Our Mom has trouble with those words, too. They seem kind of fuzzy sometimes.
ReplyDeleteMorgan, Tsar and the Porties
Yep, HBO words over here too!
ReplyDeleteNubbin wiggles,
Oskar
I can barely read them! I turned off word verification a while ago, but if I still had it up it'd be long gone!
ReplyDeleteDachshund Nola

ReplyDeleteWyatt and Stanzie
But, not on your blog!!
ReplyDeleteLet's see if it'll ask me if I'm a robot...
ReplyDeleteI guess you removed the word verification then.
ReplyDeleteBetter.
Oh we noticed them too and can hardly read them too. Just take away the word verification, problem solved!!

I hand't thought of that, I'm a robot too.
ReplyDeleteI always press the re-fresh button a few times, until I come up with one I can read - hopfully
I turned off that word verification.... the one word was bad enuff, the two word with two letters that were half black, half white, was KRAZEEEE!!
ReplyDeleteWe'll worry about deletin' spam when and if we gets it....
Everyone is having problems, it's the talk of the blog world right now. I used word verification a long time ago, then took a chance on spam. I get one or two weird messages now and then that I delete. It's easier that way!
