It rained all week. SHE disappeared every day and came home smelling of children....yuck. We've had hardly any walks. Only short ones.
This afternoon, the sun came out. When SHE came home, we had dinner put on our collars and leads and packed into the car. Great excitement. Were we going to the river? Duckpond? Millie's?
NO, we went to the V-E-T-S! It was time for our annual check ups and needles. What a disappointment!
Yuk

ReplyDeleteYou crack me up.
ReplyDeleteLooks like you girls have had some week, rain, a mom who smells like chicken and a trip to the VETS!I bet they will make it up to you this weekend!
ReplyDeleteIt just happens like that some weeks...
ReplyDeleteExpanding young minds huh? Probably easier than teaching old dogs new tricks.

Hmm, it does seem like a bad week for you. I'm so sorry!
ReplyDeleteBella, do you have a favorite color? Asta would like to know for our pawm picture.
Nubbin wiggles,
Oskar
OK...so, imagine if SHE didn't take you to the vets. Where would you girls be then? I know, I know...it's not fun, but a necessary evil you must endure. Surely there were treats involved????
ReplyDeleteArooo! Stuart
It sounds like we better call the authorities since she is leaving you and coming home smelling like those little ones!!!!! What next
ReplyDeleteBenny & Lily
Wow, what a rotten week! Boy, you guys deserve some kind of treat for putting up with the dogtor. At least the week is over, so maybe your weekend will be pawesome!
ReplyDeleteGrr and Woof,
Sarge, COP
We're having a drought here in Texas... so we'd take some of your rain to get rid of the triple digit heat! Stinks about the vet's though... poking you with needles!! I get enough of that with my allergy shots!
ReplyDeleteIuuuu, the vets. This was not a fun week.
ReplyDeleteBummer! Hope you all got good reports. And now that we are close to the weekend, we bet Mom will make it up to you with some great walkies.
ReplyDeleteWoos ~ Phantom, Thunder, Ciara, and Lightning
We have a great time when we go to visit the vet. We run down the hall and play in the water fountain and get treats from everybody.

Did the vet have to take your temperature?
ReplyDeleteThat is a terrible ending to a dull week. We had that rain too - it will get better..... it's even going to be warm here soon!!
