Saturday morning was sunny. It hadn't rained for about a week, so we headed for the Devil's Hole.
Jake |
Jake and Max saw us arrive and raced out to meet us.
Max |
Max greeted us, but he was more interested in running than sniffing.
Bella and I like to get into the grass and look for mice. We didn't find any this week.
I raced off to the river for a paddle. Can you see me?
Bella, foreground, Daisy in back |
Then Bella and I had to catch up.
Max and Jake were ahead of us. Their Mum drives the car around while they run!
Kendra & Max |
Kendra loves meeting other dogs, too. She was even let off the lead for awhile--until she started walking off in another direction.
Daisy runs ahead to greet Fred |
Then we saw Fred. He's huge--but gentle. We played for awhile and did dog things. Then we walked back to our car.....wet, muddy and happy.
Sometimes there are two more dogs. We love that place!
Unfortunately, it rained that night, so I think it'll be a few weeks before we go back.
This sure looks like an awesome place to go to. Lotta sand and water... and furry friends too. All the mud and wet fur is sure worth the happy smiles on all your faces :)
ReplyDeleteThat looks like the perfect place for us too, plenty of furtling places! We like the owners style driving in her car and letting the dogs run, hee hee. Have a great day, Dex & Lou x

Guess that means your day ended in the B-A-T-H then??! I got a bath in the B&B because I went swimmin' in the dam. The humans have no sense of humour!
ReplyDeleteLove your work, Tail Wuggles, Rubie.
Such a fun day for all! You must be very fast runners to be able to keep up with those long-legged Jake and Max.

the booker man
pee s -- btw, thankies for the explanation about reborns!
ReplyDeleteWell, this post explains the prior post. All that dirt you haul home must wear out your Vaculas really fast. At least that's what mama keeps telling us. We say a little dirt [and fur] never hurt anyone, much less a floor.
ReplyDeleteDo you eat the mice you catch? Abby eats the birds she catches. So far, to the best of mama's knowledge anyway, Abby has never caught a rodent - although it's not for lack of trying. Abby spends hours trolling for chipmunks in the back yard. Abby's view is that mama is better off not knowing everything; it just upsets her.
Jed & Abby
good doggy fun! mud, mice, other dogs...YAY!
ReplyDeleteWyatt
Rooster...Ginger and Bliss would love it there....
