Million Paws Walk

Daisy                    Bella
This morning we had another frost.  SHE didn't take us for our early morning walk.  Then when it warmed up, SHE loaded Bella and I in the car and we went to the RSPCA's Million Paws Walk.
We saw our friend Gwen who was trying to get every dog to play.  Bella was very frightened at all the noise, dogs and people.
But once the walk started, she really enjoyed herself--in fact we all did.
We walked a long way.  When we returned, Bella and I shared a sausage sandwich.  I tried out the water in every water bowl--there were about 20 of them.

Then we sat in the shade and watched all the dog contests. We met lots of new dogs and had a great time.  (Bella was much more settled when we finished the walk.)
It was a great day out AND lots of money was raised to care for those homeless dogs.
(Kendra stayed home because she cannot cope with the crowd or walk.)

  1. Looks like you had a blast..... I couldn't do the Adelaide walk or go to doggie skool because mum is still a little "under the weather" - whatever that means!! We did training up and down the hallway instead!!

Did the water taste the same out of each bowl??

  8. Sounds like a fun outing! Darby would have to stay home, too. She has a hard time with a lot of commotion. She and Kendra are just homebodies, I guess! Frost!? And summer is just starting here. That will never stop amazing me!

  9. I am sure that Kendra was glad to stay home and keep thingys safe while you were gone. I expect that she wanted a paw by paw account of the entire day.
I hope you didn't mention the sausage sandwich though.

  10. That sure sounds like lots of fun!! We bet Kendra was protecting the home while you were all gone and catching up on naps too! Kendra must be like Holly...not crazy about a lot of people and crowds. She's used to being alone with just me and one friend. The sausages sound really yummy!! Lots of love, Debbie & Holly
