We have a mouse! At least SHE's hoping it's just the one. We've seen it a few times and we've been THIS close to catching it. Mostly we sit and stare at the stove....or fridge....or tv.....
Kendra hasn't noticed the mouse.
ALSO,
We've been chasing Magpies out of OUR garden.
probably related to cats.
(Night two with the pup tents went well, though, someone (Daisy) woke everyone else up at 2 a.m., so we went outside for awhile.)
Also, I Daisy, still sleep wherever I choose.....which is usually on my favourite two towels on the bedroom floor.
Have a Happy Mother's Day....those who celebrate this Sunday.
I just saw the post about your new blue tents. I don't reckon I would like them. I prefer to lie under the coffee table if I feel the need to get into a "den". Favourite spot is the couch, next to ma! Don't turn your backs on those magpies, while on holiday in a little B&B, in a small country town, mum got "swooped" twice! Tail Wuggles, Rubie.
ReplyDeleteFear not. Time for Bella to come to the fore and use those skills honed on baby birds !
ReplyDeleteGoodness girls, you need to train your human better - I let mine share the big bed in the bedroom with me, but only if she behaves!
ReplyDeleteAnd I make sure she doesn't hog the middle of the bed - dead centre belongs to me, and she can make herself comfortable around the edges. And the blankets belong to me, too - there's only room for one princess in this house!
Puppy kisses
Sasha
Speaking as one who sleeps in the kitchen in a CAGE sounds like you girls are doing alright with tents and stuff. Never thought of sleeping in the human bed thingy like Sasha - though I would like to try.....
ReplyDeleteMaybe if I use my hang dog look....ner she'd never let me...
Sigh
Hector, Bonny and Lucy too! xx
A mouse= free entertainment!!

ReplyDeleteThunder is a great mouser for a dog - if you need help, just give him a holler:)
ReplyDeleteDaisy, better be careful about those early morning wakeup calls or you might find yourself in one of those fancy condos too.
Happy Mother's Day to your Mom too.
Woos ~ Phantom, Thunder, and Ciara
Oh, you gotta get that darn mouse. I have gotten 2 in my life and I was soo PROUD, although Mom was grossed out!! That mouse is gonna be toast with you three on the job.

Jazzi
Girls, just keep watch like you're doing and you'll get that pesky mouse. I just know it.
ReplyDeleteRoodles, Stuart
You'll get it, I'm sure. Or we could lend you Happy. He doesn't do much, but he does like to hunt mice. Of course, the airfare would probably be a bit prohibitive. You'll get it if you just wait him out.
ReplyDeleteBella, I knew that you were a mighty huntress, those critters aren't safe with you and Daisy around.
ReplyDeleteNubbin wiggles & nose kisses,
Oskar
Bella, it's time to start the hunt again!! Get Daisy and Kendra and gang up on all of the mouse and those sneaky birds! Lots of love, Holly and mom
ReplyDeleteMitch is an excellent mouser! If you need help, let us know and we'll get him packed up and ready to ship out to your house, girls!
ReplyDeleteLove ya lots
Maggie and Mitch
Let Bella handle the mouse and magpies.
ReplyDeleteBenny & Lily
Now you've got me thinking that we might have a mouse in our apartment because every morning our 20 pound cat, Buster, looks under our bathroom radiator! Oh dear! I just hope I am only dreaming there's a mouse in the house! Good luck finding your mouse!
ReplyDeleteMickey is vacationing in your home?

the booker man
pee s -- my word verification thingie is SLAYING! heeheehee!
Magpies!!! I know that you probably want to chase them and eat them, but I am just in awe to see photos of them in the wild. Beautiful!!
ReplyDeleteAnd Happy Mother's Day to you, too!!
Hate to tell you, ladies, but a mouse in the wild is never a singular critter. So you're looking for mice, who are probably moving in to your nice warm house for winter. You're terriers! You can get those pesky little critters! If you don't ... how do you feel about cats?
