The boat ramp

Someone forgot the camera yesterday when we went for a walk.  So I'll just have to describe what happened.
Half-way through our walk, we came to a boat ramp.  Bella and I explored.  (We went back today so you could see what the ramp was like.)
We both went in for a little paddle, but fell off the ramp and were TOTALLY submerged!
I had to be pulled out, but Bella swam around the side where it was shallow.  Then, it was Wet Zoomies Time.  We ran around and around.  I dried off by rolling in the dirt and loose grass.
(There WAS a bath afterwards.)Today we didn't get in.  We're not  really submersible* scotties.

(*We may have made that word up).

  1. Oh gosh, I am learning that you have to be SO careful when venturing into water, if you are not a submersible dog (and I am not either). It's so hard to tell what's ahead, even if the water is quite clear. And you know one time, I totally misjudged a jump over a pool of water and ended up soaking wet all over. Just horrid! I feel for you guys!

  2. Sounds to me like you are submersible but not buoyant Scotties. Who would ever think you needed a flotation device on a morning walk ? Kendra seems to have been the sensible one .

  3. Must be all that hair that pulls you down!

  4. It must have been the lamb shanks from Kendra's pawtee that made you submersible today. I am sure you girls can be buoyant.. if need be :D

A bath is of course a must after all the rollings :D but surely worth it.

  7. Yes, we think you need life jackets too - you never can be too careful. But we bet you still had lots of fun, that is, BEFORE the baths:)

    Have a great week.

  16. I've never seen Scotties swim so I would've had a ball watching you take your leap of faith! Too bad you didn't want to jump off the ramp today though. Maybe another time?

  19. Hey...good term "submersible Scotties". If we're waterproof, then we're not submersible. Glad that's settled!
