Car Rides
The keys are jingling. I'm outside waiting to get my collar and lead on. But Bella just sits in the doorway. She wants to be part of the action, but she doesn't like riding in the car. She sits and watches, ready to make a quick exit and hide if it looks like she will be included.
Me, I just love a car ride. Head out the window, catching the wind. It doesn't matter what the weather. This is an old photo of me because it's been raining and we don't have any new ones.
When we get home, Bella always launches herself at me for a surprise attack of bitey face. She won't come, but she resents me going. Go figure. Kendra just stays wherever she is, she doesn't like the car either.

ReplyDeleteWe can't imagine a pup not liking the car! Actually, Max is a little upset as this is the only thing he would seem to disagree with Bella on!!! We LOVE the car and sticking our noses out to catch the passing sniffs is just pawsome! (There's a labrador who lives just down the street who also loves going on car rides - we love watching his drive past as he's got his head out of the car window and he's SO excited he just barks for sheer joy of it all the way down the street and out of sight! He must bark the whole journey - wonder what his owner thinks of it, he he he!)

We all love car rides. When we see Mom getting our car harnesses out, we all get so excited she can hardly get us buckled in.

Bambi loves to ride in her truck!! Poor baby doesn't get to go like she use to, her Mom doesn't drive any more!! So she is board a lot now a days, poor baby!!!
ReplyDeleteJoker, when we first got him would bark all the way to and from too. After a while he didn't bark at all when he rode in the car. He just stopped one day.

ReplyDeleteI'm not a big fan of car rides either. And I hate it when the wind blows my ears around so I can't even imagine sticking my head out the car window. Daisy, I'm starting to wonder if you didn't get bumped on the head at a young age.....

Oh...Brudder Ranger and me LUVS car rides. We don't sticks our head out the window, but I likes to sit up and watch everything passing by. And then usually wherever we end up is really fun, too. So car rides are one of my favoritest things in the world!

ReplyDeletei totally love car rides, too! i like to stick my head out the window and feel the wind in my furs, but asa doesn't like to cuz the wind tickles her nose. heehee. maybe miss bella and miss kendra get upset tummies when they ride in the car so that's why they don't like it??

I am with Bella and Kendra on this one, cars is NASTY! However, Bonny loves them, any car- it does not matter whose, and in she gets with a face that says "Just DRIVE!".
