We have just scored three beautiful days in a row! After morning frosts, the temps have risen to the high 50s and 60s Fahrenheit (15-19 Celsius). We have been outside soaking up the warmth. Lots of flowers have been tricked into blooming. Of course, it is perfect walking weather. Today we went to the Duck Pond. It was a bit dirty from all the recent rain and there weren't many ducks. This pelican pretty much had the water to itself, regally swimming around only to ruin the image by up-ending itself to feed.
We just sat and watched him for awhile before moving on to explore the area. We met a Jack Russell, elderly poodle and very young border collie out enjoying the weather. As we haven't been there for weeks, there were lots of scents to smell.
Bella and Kendra found something floating in the water. They suspected something edible. Bella had to be held back to prevent her going in after it.
We love these kinds of days. Unfortunately, the rain is returning tomorrow. The clouds are moving in on cue. Winter isn't over yet.

Now you be careful of those pelicans won't you? They have VERY big mouths!
