Have a Great Weekend!!

 Yesterday, during our evening walk, we saw all these cockatoos feeding. They were on the low side of the river.   And boy, were they ever making a racket! 

 Then they  flew off together......still screeching!

This is what a sulphur crested cockatoo looks like close up.

 SHE loves watching all the birds while we walk; but SHE has a cheap camera and can't get good pictures .

Alas, there'll be no walks this weekend.  We're off to go camping while SHE and Flat George go to Sydney.

We wanted to change our header today and chose this picture--SHE likes it because it looks like Kendra is telling a joke.  Blogger is being totally uncooperative.  It SAID it would shrink it to fit, but it didn't.  So we tried the one in the header.......same thing.  Gave up.   Only my nose is showing......

We've got the blogger blues.

Monday Morning

 Hi everyone, we changed the clocks back on Sunday and for us, it means we're back to the 6 a.m walks.

This morning we walked through town.

 We wanted to show you the leaves.

 There weren't many people about and most of those who were, had dogs.

 We crunched through the leaves while on the other side of the street.........

 A huge VACULA was sucking them up!

 We continued down the block and turned right to walk on the sports fields next to the river.

 We saw our friends the 'McDonalds' dogs:  Chips, Burger and Sundae.  They were so far away that SHE didn't think we'd run after them so she let us off the leads,  silly woman.  We raced after them to say hello.

Then we raced back when SHE whistled! 

SHE said we were being terriers--like it's a bad thing.

A Walk to Sandy Beach

 Saturday everyone!  We head down to Sandy Beach!  It's about a quarter mile walk from where we park the car.
