Friday Nature (sort of)

and a mystery!!

Last week SHE read that you can cut the bottom
off a celery bunch, put it in water and it would
grow again.
So SHE tried it with Bok Choi
Look, it's only been a week:

We think this counts as nature.
And this, we found a little duck family today.
An Autumn hatching.

And the mystery?
When SHE returned from shopping today,
SHE found this in the study.
A chewed container that had

 contained  meat for the magpies.
When SHE left is was on the kitchen bench
the meat was gone.....
and there were three short-legged, innocent-looking dogs!

  1. I'm guessing those magpies somehow got into the kitchen?
And I'm betting that celery thing wouldn't work for Gail...

  7. I would say you had better keep eating the Magpie meat for the Bok Choi leaf is not enough to sustain anyone.

  12. We can't believe SHE would be saving meat for birds! We don't know who ate it though. We hope the late hatchings make it okay.
