It's been one of those weeks...

Monday was a public holiday, so EVERYONE was at the river in the morning.
Dui and Bella were entangled in burrs that had to be cut out.
Early....about 2:30 a.m. that night, Dui wanted out.
We all went out, then after about 10 minutes, Bella and Roxy wanted in.
Twenty minutes later, Dui barked to come in.
About 20 minutes later, he wanted out.  This was the pattern until 4 a.m. when SHE gave up any chance of sleep.

Watched the depressing news...Las Vegas, Catalans, various murders and fatal car accidents....with cappuccino.
Then went into the study to find two huge
grass-filled vomits on the carpet.
Dui had decided to vomit in comfort.
As steam cleaning had been on the list of things to do,
SHE cleaned the carpet at 6:30 a.m.
We only got clean walks that day.

What is Roxy watching so intently?

We thought it might be Kaci!
But no, it was just a visitor.  Jedda who lives there is a
tiny black poodle.

After taking these photos, SHE lost the camera.
Just put it down and couldn't find it...for two days.

Also, the back passenger side window went down
and won't come up.
Dui is getting the blame, he loves putting his
wet, muddy beard over  it.
Oh well, next week the timing belt has to be replaced, just add the window to the bill....
Bella....just hangin' around in the background.
The weather has improved.  Cool nights and warm, sunny days,
for lying outside.

We are supposed to get some much-needed rain on Sunday.
Hope you have a wonderful weekend.

  1. We have rain now, and that means mud, and that makes the Momster not so happy. It sounds like you could use a better week next week:)

  5. Good Golly what a WEEK! When it rains it pours. You get Bella well then Dui decides he wants attention. Mom has a mini steam carpet cleaner by Bissel for pet accidents. Dad kinda lol when she bought it but OMCs he is singing mom's praises now. The Bissel is her 2nd favorite house hold appliance. First being her crock pot.

  11. Tell HER that I've had nights like that where all my dog towels and cleaner gets used before 6 AM.

And I think our crew would want Dui to know... That "it's better to have eaten something and thrown it up. And then eaten it again than never to have eaten it at all." :-)

  12. We know about the vomits. Oh boy. River has had two 4:30 AM bed vomits on back to back night. No other vomits, just 4:30 AM in bed and then my parents are up waiing to see if she will vomit again. But we do fill our families lives with big smiles and lots of love so it is a break even day

  13. This morning at 5:30 as Dad cleaned the carpet after a digestive disaster, Mom sipped a cup of coffee and thought about how much simpler life was when she had only one dog.

  15. That is a fabulous photo of you Roxy with such a huge smile! Were you thinking of Ernie when you smiled like that? Sounds like the car is going to be expensive so have HER buy you a supply of treats before the car goes in the shop!

  18. Wow - that's a big week! Hopefully you get some relaxing after all that hard work..
I do hate burrs though - they get tangled in my beautiful fur and the worst is when they get stuck around my paws... that's really painful!
Wishing you all a bit of a relax :)
Lots of licks, your good friend Morrie!
