FOOD!

Bet that got your attention.
Food is VERY important to us.
SHE calls us stomach hounds.
The blanket and upturned plant pot is an attempt at keeping Roxy out of the dirt!
We expend a lot of energy during the day--as
you can see in the photo.
So food, good food is important to us.
We have a SCHEDULE for dinner
(So SHE can remember what to buy, what to defrost and what to feed!)

We have an excellent quality grain-free kibble as a base.
Then add
Monday:  Raw chicken, necks, legs or wings.
Tuesday & Wednesday: Grain-free wet food.
We get one-sixth of a small tin of beef, kangaroo, lamb or duck.
Sometimes the kibble is mixed with rice or pasta.
Thursday:  Raw chicken again
Friday:  a third of a tin of sardines in oil
Saturday & Sunday:  cooked chicken gizzards or hearts.
The amount of kibble is adjusted according to the topper.

We love dinner time.  Do you have an eating schedule?

  3. We have an eating time schedule and we eat the same boring kibble every day. We think you are winning the food contest and we are going to have to protest for some better grub!

  5. Can we come over and join you for dinner? We have a high quality grain free limited ingredient kibble as our base too. We get a fish oil capsule and a tablespoon of nonfat plain yogurt along with a cup of kibble for breakfast. For dinner we get another cup of kibble, along with some green beans, a tablespoon of pumpkin, and a dab canned food. Sometimes we get some tuna or swordfish, a bit of chicken or hamburg, and maybe turkey if we are really lucky. We can't complain but we do wish the portions were larger:)

  7. Pierre would be flexible but Bentley is like clockwork. Breakfast a 7:30 and dinner at 3:30 He is certain that he will starve if I deviate ten minutes from these times. LOL!

  10. Gosh an eating schedule - especially a such a high quality one as you describe, sounds an excellent idea. I shall start a campaign to have one implemented here. At present, any kibble toppers are all rather random.
