Up and out before that sun.....again!

We're heading for another HOT day.

It was fairly dark when we started but not too
dark for us to miss a 'ROO!
Yup, the sheep weren't in the paddock
so Dui was off the lead.
SHE didn't even see the 'roo until we started
chasing it through the paddock.

Did SHE get any photos?  Of course not.
All SHE got today was
sunrise and kookaburras......

sitting on the goalposts.

  1. My Dad has so many photos of your beautiful country. The company he is a senior design engineer for has a large factory down there and he goes often. When Mom retires in four years, she is going to join him for one of his trips. Dad doesn't retire for about 87 years, so Mom will have some fun going on trips with him.

  2. All I has here in bunnies to chase. And skwerrils.

  3. aww are that the berds what can make the funniest noises ever? like monkeys?

  4. You do have exciting adventures - it's pretty boring when I go for my walks - not much to see and nothing to chase. Not that I'd do that of course, I'm a very well brought up girl.
My peeps have been to your country, they didn't see any kookaburras, but they did see some Roos - in a Zoo near Sydney. It's not the same as seeing them in the wild is it !

  5. What wonderful photos...what a pawfect idea to have SHE distracted with the sunrise so you can chase the Roos around
    Loves and licky kisses

  6. Did you even come close to catching the roo? That must have been superfun!

  7. Those are pretty photos of the sunrise!

  8. Those would have been awesome photos though! I love the kookabura picture.

    Monty, Harlow, and Ramble

  9. Pictures of birds are better than those of silly 'roos.

  10. OMCs we cannot even in our wildest dreams imagine seeing a 'roo on a walk. WOW. I like the birdie photos.
Isn't there a song about them?
    Hugs madi your bfff

  11. Oh, I would've loved to see a 'Roo! The kookaburras are cool though. It must be nice to be up before the sun so you can see the pretty sunrise.

  12. What an exciting and beautimous walkie!!
    Dory, Jakey, Arty & Bilbo

  13. I think the people miss all the action on purpose. If they just stood back and let us run and chase and get into the things they called "mischief" then they could take much better photos, don't you think?

  14. Hope the Roo doesn't kick you!
    Mr Bailey, hazel & Mabel

  15. Kookaburras on a goal Post??? We thought they always sat in an Old Gum tree.
OMD OMD you gotted to CHASE A ROO ????? OMD we are BOTH green with Jellyness. Did it leave any Poops fur you? WE would LOVE to ... "HAVE" some ROO POOPS... they must be a real delicacy.

  16. Roos and a kookaburro bird on one walk!?! That is so cool. I will be singing the kookaburro bird song all night now! LOL!

  17. What pretty sunrise pictures. Too bad SHE didn't get pictures of the roo too.

  18. Gorgeous sunrise! Did you really see a roo? Very cool!!!!

  19. What a beautiful cloud formation!

    Toodle pip!

  22. Wow, we'd love to chase a roo. We'll go start digging a hole so we can visit you.
