A Tuesday Tale of Monday Mischief....

First of all before, SHE tells this story,
it was a COLD (coldest May night in 17 years), FROSTY night.

When we had our Early Morning Walk,
SHE thought the tips of HER fingers were going
to break off, they were so frozen.
After we returned home, Dui raced outside to bark
at a policeman who was walking passed.
He went next door and we could see two policemen talking
to next door Jenny (not to be confused with-across-the-street
Jenny who is the cat person.)
Later, SHE asked next door Jenny what it was about.

Jenny's husband found some strange clothes in the back of his truck in the morning--perhaps get away clothes.

Then Jenny said, "Didn't you hear the commotion last night?
There was a break-in up the street and there were
police cars all over the place, and policemen with dogs
searching the streets.  I was surprised your dogs didn't bark!"

Well....it WAS COLD and FROSTY!

Anyway, the police had everything under control!

SHE says the police should have had police cats,
then we would have barked.

  1. OH WORD IT IS HARD TO WRAP OUR MINDS AROUND JUNE BEING COLD...BUT THAT IS JUST HOW IT IS DOWN UNDER RIGHT? MOL MOL
It is pretty darn scary to have sirens blaring in the wee hours.
I bet SHE was all kinds of crazy pants to think SHE had 3 dogs and none of your alerted HER to danger. MOL MOL the mental image of a police cat cracked mom up. Thank goodness you are all safe and things are settling down
    Hugs madi your bfff

  4. What we have are three goof-offs. Terriers (and terrier wannabes) are not worried about the cold.

  12. We had some Monday Mischief on Tuesday too - Lightning snuck upstairs to the no-sibe zone because he thought there was a stranger up there - do you think that could be connected to the burglary on your street? BOL We hope there are no more intruders and maybe some warmer weather.

  17. Well that is why they were called cat burglars. They made us bark. Now they don't carry cats. Not our fault
